Inkspiration Challenge #28 {colour}

** If you've popped over to see the Inkspiration Winners and Honorable Mention for this week pop down to THIS post**

Happy Friday!!! I hope you've all had a fabulous week and are looking forward to the weekend.
Keesh has left us with a colour challenge today.. and I must admit.. I did struggle a wee bit with this one... first off everything I made seemed to resemble a VIOLET CRUMBLE Chocolate Bar and then it seemed to resemble some sort of Marmalade Jar.. hahaha.. I KNOW!!!!.. Anyway I finally settled on this creation, although the colours were still throwing me, so I'm not 100% happy with this one.. but with a couple of sick little flossies.. I've run out of time to get another one made.. so I hope ... REALLY HOPE.. I don't frighten you all off!!!!

Here's my card:-

And here is the colour combo for you to play along with:-

Ok... where to start... righty.. the base... that would be Chocolate Chip and then to that I added a little layer of Whisper White and to that some Pumpkin Pie DSP from my Sweet Pea pack!!!
The little bits to the side next... the little strip is a thin piece of Choc Chip which has been BLINGIFIED and quite comprehensively BLONKED into some glitter, I then pulled out my Big Shot and used my fabulous Sizzlets Lots of Tags and then cut out some more DSP to create the centre. I made the tulip using my Two Step Bird Punch and then used the 'F' stamp from Vintage Vogue to get the 'friends' sentiment and hand wrote the 'fabulous' part.

Be sure to pop on over and visit the rest of the Inkspiration DT for some more amazing inspiration:-

Hi Sar,
You've done a great job, love the tulip & the CS strip that you 'blonked' (love that) in the glitter, it looks so pretty.Had to laugh about the violet crumble. Would like a play with this one but not sure what I will do!
Have a great weekend, hope the flossies are feeling much better soon,

HI Sarah,
I reckon you've done an awesome job with some challenging colours . (You are so right about the violet crumble!!- I won't be able to get that out of my head now). Really like how the white tag frames the tulip and senitment.
