Sweet Sunday Sketch #196

Happy Sunday and welcome to another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!!! All sorts of drama today!!.. Firstly I couldn't find the sketch that Karen had sent to me, which meant I couldn't make my card until one of the other lovely Sweet Sunday Stampers posted their card becaaauuuseee... by the time I'd actually realised I couldn't find the sketch, most of them would've been in bed or close to it!!.. Just a teeny tiny problem with me being on the opposite side of the world ;-). Never fear, I found it, I've made a card and here it is:-

And the long lost sketch for you to follow along with:-

I've used the colours from the Birthday Basics DSP pack for  my card today. Smokey Slate, Basic Gray, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pool Party. The stamp set I used is from Chalk Talk, and I stamped the image onto Whisper White Card Stock using Jet Black Stazon Ink, then used my Blender Pen to colour the "BIG" in Pool Party. I also used the Chalk Talk Framelits to cut the other images on the tag. I added some Pool Party Seam Binding and a little bit of the This and That Washi Tape.

Be sure to pop on over and visit the rest of the amazing Sweet Sunday Stampers' for some inspiration:-
And don't forget to link your card to InLInkz over at Karen's blog so we can all see what you've created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #195

Happy Sunday!!! It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch, so I hope you'll be able to join in on the fun!!

Karen has designed another FUN sketch for us to play with, and here is my card for this week:-

 And here is the sketch:-

A beautiful friend of mine is having her Baby Shower TODAY!!, So I wanted to make a card for her... YES, it's a GIRL!!!. I've used Pink Pirouette, Pool Party and Crumb Cake as my colour base (Thank you for the nudge Color Coach!!) Of course, I couldn't make a card at the moment without Burlap Ribbon (LOVE!!!) and some sparkliness, today in the form of Glitter Paper!!!. The background of the label on the front of the card is embossed in Pool Party embossing powder and the label is from the Chalk Talk Framelits, which of course coordinate with the Chalk Talk Stamp Set, which is where the delightful image is from.

Some Pool Party Seam Binding and a Designer Very Vintage Button, finish this sweet card off perfectly!

I made a quick little tag to go with it and a GORGEOUS PINK Bow using the NEW Gift Bow Bigz Die!! LOVE it!!!

Sweet Sunday Sketch #194 - Merriest Christmas Wishes to you!

Hello!!.. I'd love to say Happy Sunday, but it's not!!...My apologies for the lateness of my Sweet Sunday Sketch post. It's been a challenging couple of months here, with a few little, niggley health issues, and while I'm still trying to get on top of them, I shall not let them rain of my stampin' parade!!!.

So, although late, here is my card for this fortnights sketch challenge:-

And here is the sketch for you to follow along with, if you haven't already:-

I had fun with this one and even rebelled a tad and flipped the sketch! I know.. such a rebel, right!?  I decided to keep on a Christmas card roll, and create another to add to my stash. I've used Crumb Cake and CHerry Cobbler as my main colour combo and added some Old Olive in the form of Markers and Washi Tape!. I also used some of the GORGEOUS Burlap Ribbon (LOVE) and the stamp set is Tag It!, oooh and a little bit of Gorgeous Grunge in the background... did you see it there!?
