Sweet Sunday Sketch #181

Happy Sunday!!! Happy EASTER!!! I hope you and your families have a wonderful Easter. It's time of course for another Sweet Sunday Sketch. I hope you can find some time to play along with us.

Here is my card for this weeks challenge:-

And here is the sketch for you to play along with:-

I'm not goint to lie, this sketch had me in a panic. Those of you that know me, know that I most definitely struggle with TILTED panels. They kinda freak me out... I don't know what it is, apart from the non straightness of it, but TILTED panels take a lot of looking at and thinking and, and, well you get it, right!?

Soooo... I decided to make the whole 'tilted' experience this week an easy one and use a piece of Designer Series Paper, More Amoré, to be exact and use the delightful phrase that is printed on the equally delightful DSP as the main part on the abovementioned TILT!!. Genius, don't you think? ;-)

The colours are all based on the More Amoré DSP and I've added some Rhinestones to bling it up just a tad. The little banner was made using my  Hearts a Flutter Framelits.

Did I mention that you can get ALL of the goodies I used to make this card from my ONLINE store!!?? So head on over if there is anything you need :D.

Be sure to pop on over and visit the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers for some amazing inspiration!!:-

    Inkspiration Sketch #21

appy Friday!!! It's time for another Inkspiration Challenge and this week it's everybody's FAVOURITE... a SKETCH!!!... I do LOVE a sketch. I have to say this one is one of my FAVES from Keesh... really easy to work with, FABULOUS.

    Here's my card for today:-

After I'd gotten my post ready, I was just kinda sitting and looking at my card and thought it needed a little something, something!!!
So, I added a little ruffle along the Kraft ribbon... What do you think. I must apologise for my photo... I'll get a better one up as soon as my computer is being a little more amicable... it's running a BIG bit slow today!!! arrgg

    And here's Keesh's FABULOUS sketch:-

I've kept mine really Clean and Simple today.. actually the only part that is stamped is the sentiment!!!!
I've been dying to use my little "Sweet Pea" flowers.. oh my goodness... they are SERIOUSLY GORGEOUS!!!!!... They were a sweet little pressie I got a few weeks ago... and well one of those little pressies that you just have to sit and look at for a wee while, whilst mustering up the gumption to actually USE them on a project... also one of those well little gifties that you simply MUST give to someone special, someone you know will admire these little treasures in all their glory and NEVER, EVER dispose of them... hahaha. Ok I'll stop with my Sweet Pea obsession now... oh but wait... SORRY!!.. I used some more of my SWEET PEA DSP... have I mentioned that that is as DIVINE as the little flowers.. and just as hard to CUT into... hahaha... Anyone else have that problem... having all this PRETTY paper, and not being able to CUT it!!! hahah

Ok.. back to the card.. I've also used some Rose Red 1" Dbl Stitched Grosgrain and some Kraft Taffeta Ribbon, and plonked some more brads into some SPARKLES to add a wee bit of BLING!!!

Be sure to pop on over and visit the rest of the talented Inkspiration DT for some more amazing inspiration:-

    Sweet Sunday Sketch #64

Happy Sunday!!!! Hope you've had a fabulous weekend.
Of course it's time for another wonderful sketch from Karen... hope you can play along.. it's heaps of fun!!!!

Sooo, because I literally have 10mins to get this post edited and up so you can have a looksie, I'm going to get straight to the point..(what's that... sighs of relief?... hahaha).

Here's my card for this week:-

And here is Karen's wonderful sketch:-

I've used some DELICIOUS and GORGEOUS Sweet Pea DSP... a wee little gifty I received in the mail last week... yes, it's taken me a whole week and a bit to convince myself that it is OK to cut this GORGEOUS paper... even then I still had to do it with one eye tightly squinted.. the other only open so that I didn't chop my finger instead.. ouch!!

I've also used my Trendy Trees stamp set... one of my faves and I'm sad to say one that has been neglected of late. I coloured the trees with my SU! Markers in Old Olive and Pretty in Pink. The centre tree I restamped and then cut out using my 1" circle punch then dunked it into my Dazzling Diamond pot for some sparkle. Just to soften the white space I decided to sponge around the edges and I guess somewhat onto the main square panel... I think I achieved what I was after... hmmm.. hahah

Ok.... 7mins to go... I best get moving!!!

I've pulled out some long retired In colours from last year (River Rock) and some matching DSP Apple Cider for this one. LOVE the colours in that DSP pack!!!! Oh and the star of the show is my Sprinkled with Love stamp set from Taylor. LOVE this too!!!

I've paper pieced my cup using some of the Really Rust DP from the pack and sponged the FROTHY goodness with some So Saffron just to make it appear a little more FROTHY I guess!!! The edges have been sponged with So Saffron and some Choc Chip too just to soften them up a bit and the sentiment is from my Basic Phrases set. Nice card to send to a friend for a "Sprinkle Drink Date" or perhaps just a Coffee Date... hahaha

    Sweet Sunday Sketch #60

Happy Sunday!!!! How's the weather today????? Humid, HOT and pretty much YUK!!!... Well that's what it's like for us West Aussies :o)... hopefully it's a little nicer where ever you may be.

Karen has set another FUN sketch for us this week, SOOOO I hope you can find some time to sit down and play along.

Here is my card for today's sketch:-

And here is the sketch for you:-

I knew I wanted to use the colour combo of Regal Rose, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery, and Garden Green... all was going well until I had a brainwave to use Butterflies and then when I tried to get them all in a little cluster... WELL... it kinda wasn't doing what I had hoped. I did however persevere, which involved an awful amount of fluffing around, fiddling, sighing, going for a walk, coming back and looking at it again, tilting my head ( you know sometimes that helps.. Right?) and then a little more fiddling until I figured it was either going to work and you'd like it (which I hope you do) OR it wasn't going to work and you'd look at it with a tilted head and squinted eyes and just kinda well.. OK NOT LIKE IT!!!!

I do though hope you go for the first option, but do feel free to let me know if you don't.. I PROMISE I won't be offended.. LOL.

Righty enough waffling... why don't you pop on over and visit the rest of the AMAZING Sweet Sunday Stampers... you know they'll have some AMAZING creations for you to see and of course be inspired by:-

    Inkspiration Colour Challenge #19

Happy Friday!!!! Hope you've had a wonderful week. For my fellow West Aussies, I hope you've survived the HEAT WAVE we've been having... seriously.. I'm really looking forward to some cooler weather... I didn't think I'd ever say that!!!

Anyhoo.. Keesh has set a Colour Challenge this week and although the colours are GORGEOUS (you'll see in a sec) I actually really struggled with this one this week. I'll explain why in a sec!! hahah

    Sooo here is my card:-

And here is the Colour Combo for you to work with:-

Soooo... why did I struggle?.. Well you see.. that little colour up there in the swatch called Taken with Teal.. yes... well I don't actually own any ink, markers OR DSP in that colour.. I know, I know. I do know though that had I had any one or all of the abovementioned items my struggle may not have been such a BIG deal!!!! Yes... I'm off to purchase myself some ink, marker and DSP containing Teal.. I am determined to never have such a struggle again.. hahaha.

I've used my Framed with Love Set again and the the small flower is from my Razzle Dazzle set. I've stamped it once in Choc Chip and once in Whisper White then added a corresponding button for the flower on each one. The sentiment is "Happy" from Basic Phrases and Birthday from ME!!

Be sure to pop on over and visit the other DT gal, I'm sure they struggle LESS than me and produced something AMAZING:-

    Inkspiration Challenge {sketch #19}

Happy Friday!!! Hope you've all had a fabulous week. It's Friday, which not only means it's the weekend tomorrow, BUT that it's time for another Inkspiration Challenge.

This week we've got a Sketch challenge, which are always fun and here is my card:-

Here is Keesh's sketch so you can play along:-

I've made my card using Kiwi Kiss, Choc Chip and Kraft. My intention to begin with was to make a Blokey kinda card... Kiwi Kiss, Choc Chip and Kraft are pretty good for a blokey kinda card don't you think? BUT... and I emphasize the BUT... I couldn't help myself and had to add a couple of little flowers under the tree... well it just looked SO lonely there on it's own... hahaha
It was also about time that I pulled out my Trendy Trees set.. (LOVE, LOVE that set... again going on my BLokey card feel) then thought it might be fun to add some Hodgepodge.. you know the tin filled with GOODIES that has been sitting on my desk for AGES and not been used!!!, as a focal point of the tree. The sentiment is from my Trendy Trees set also and is stamped in Kiwi Kiss and Real Red and just to add a little bit of depth and dimension to my Krafty bits I've sponged around the edges with some Choc Chip.

So there you go... hope you like this little Tree... and be sure to pop on over and see what the other Inkspiration DT have made for you to see, I'm sure you WONT be disappointed:-

    sweet sunday sketch #58 {scrap page}

Happy Sunday!!!! Hope you've had a FUN weekend. It's Sunday, so it's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch from Karen.

I had FUN with this weeks sketch and rather than making a card I thought I'd take a big JUMP and make a scrap page... I KNOW!!!!!

I've had this serious of photos of my beautiful Ella (oooh Karen.... CONTINUOUS mode!!!! ;o) and thought they'd be PERFECT for this sketch. Soooo.. here is my sample for this week:-

And here is the Sketch from Karen:-

The title speaks for itself really... 'The ULTIMATE Icecream Experience'. This was Ella's first experience with an Icecream cone... as you can see by the photos, it went... The taste, the approval, the hmmm what will happen if I squeeze this, the oh that's what will happen if I squeeze this, the i'll try REALLY hard to eat this before the cone completely falls apart, to the well it's fallen apart, mummy has given me a plate SOOOO I may aswell LICK it clean!!!!!, and the FINAL snap..... the completely SATISFIED and OH SO PLEASED with myself smile.

This first close up is of the "taste", the approval, and a little contemplation about perhaps giving that little piece of yumminess a little squeeze!!

Then we have the "hmmm, I wonder what would happen if I squeeze this, and the OH that's what happens when I squeeze!!!!

And well this little series pretty much speaks for itself. I must tell you though she didn't learn those plate licking skills from me... hahaha

I love the fact that you can actually see Ella's face through the plate.. just so we can all get the FULL experience... hahaha.

I've used Very Vanilla, Au Chocolat DSP, and Pretty in Pink cardstock. The Icecream stamp is from my Sprinkled with Love set and I've added a touch of Very Vanilla Ribbon and of course HAD to use my APRON lace punch.

Here's a little close up of the stamped image from Life Definitions for you... I thought it was PERFECT for this page:-

Oh and did you notice my FANCY, GORGEOUS and GLAMOUROUS watermark???? Nice, huh... No I'm not gloating... the GORGEOUS Karen made it just for me... How CLEVER is she?... VERY CLEVER!!! and GORGEOUS to boot. (Love ya Karen!!!!)

Be sure to pop on over and visit the other Sweet Sunday Stampers for some AMAZING inspiraton, they NEVER fail to inspire:-

    Sweet Sunday Sketch #57 {wish big}

Happy Sunday!!! Hope you've had a FABULOUS weekend. It's time for another FUN sketch from Karen, and this week she's got an absolute RIPPER for you. Now, before I show you, you have to PROMISE not to get scared and to have a go... PROMISE!!!!

Ok, so now that you've all promised me that you'll play along here's my card for this week:-

And here is Karen's "RIPPER" sketch:-

Now like I said... don't be frightened... well ok, you can be a little bit scared.. I was a little scared at first.. BUT... once I started playing I actually found it to be FUN and not really all that scary.. well OK it took a little bit of playing, and a few BIZARRE colour combos... (*waving girls*) after our little chat last night, I opted to go for something... um shall we say... a little less Easter Egg Huntish!!! hahaha

I've gone with a Kraft base and the colours I've chosen are Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette, Choc Chip, Very Vanilla.
My strips are a combination of both DSP and hand stamped DSP using my Framed with Love set. I used Pink Pirouette ribbon for my middle strip and rather than circle (which I LOVE) I decided to have a whirl at creating my own Ribbon Flower. I've been wanting to have a go at these for AGES... and t'was HEAPS of fun... Go on have a go!!!!

So there you go.. I think this might go in my 'Little Girl's" Birthday pile, I'm actually really happy with how it turned out. "BONUS!!!" hahaha

    Inkspiration Challenge {Inspiration #18}

Happy Friday!!! It's time for another Inkspiration Challenge and today it's an Inspiration. I've kept my card nice and simple today... sometimes, nice and simple is just perfect.

Here's what I came up with:-

Here is the Inspiration piccy for you to play along with:-

    Cute!!!! huh!!!!

I've used the colours and the little cushion in the centre of the bed for my Inspiration. The colours are Rose Red, Tempting Turquoise and some Pink Pirouette DSP. I added a strip of Rose Red Ribbon and then stamped the one of the frames from my Framed with Love set in Tempting Turquoise then stamped and punched a butterfly from Butterfly Prints which has been stamped in Rose Red, but stamped off once, and has a couple of little pink rhinestones added to it for a little bit of BLING!!!

The sentiment is from my Short and Sweet set and the extra little sparkly butterfly is from my For Everything set.

Hope you like this and be sure to pop on over and see what the other Inkspiration DT have made for you to see, I'm sure you WONT be disappointed:-

    It's Good to Dream

I've FINALLY managed to get my act together and play along with one of Taylors Challenges. YAY!!!! Huge Happy Dance going on here!!!!

Taylor is celebrating 100 Sketches... and what better time to join in on all the fun.. Right?!!!

I really am EXCITED about getting this card done and after a whole lot of PROCRASTINATING... I am actually really happy with the end result.. perhaps it's because there is a whole lot of PINK going on here! hahaha.

    So here is my card:-

I've inked up my gorgeous Razzle Dazzle stamp for this one, and used my Blender Pens to colour the flowers in Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red.. we didn't get any SU! Markers in these In Colours, so desperate time meant desperate measures!!!

My scallop around the circle was created by cutting a few Scallop Oval and attaching them to the back. I added some FABULOUS Extra Wide Pink Pirouette Grosgrain (totally DELICIOUS!!) and finished it off with some Pink Rhinestones.

This little beauty, is on it's way to one of my BEAUTIFUL girlfriends.. I hope she likes it.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

    sweet sunday #56 {sprinkled with LOVE}

Happy Valentines Day Folks!!! Hope you've had a FABULOUS day, getting spoilt, serenaded (well ok perhaps not!!..hahha) and generally taken care of by your LOVED one.

I got very spoilt last night.. my GORGEOUS hubby cooked me dinner... somewhat of a Valentines Day tradition here in the Kale' abode. I must say too, for someone who doesn't do a lot of cooking and quite often says that he can't really cook.... to that I say Pfift!!!!... No really.... he doesn't just go for a simple Cheese on Toast option (one I would be completely content with I might add.. you know it's all about the fact that HE is cooking.. hahaha), oh NO, he's gone the whole kit and caboodle.. Garlic and Chilli Prawns, Crispy Skinned Salmon with Chilli Glaze, Olive Tapenade with Marinated Feta and Prawn Toast and THEN... yes there is MORE... THEN Lemon and Lime Brulee... MY FAVE and to completely DIE for... It was DELICIOUS!!! The best part... I didn't have to cook it, clean it up and there is plenty left over for today... EXCELLENT!!!

Now I'm sure you didn't pop on over to listen to me ramble on about my spoilings on VDay, rather to see what we've created for you for Karen's fabulous Sweet Sunday Sketch... so I won't bore you any further and get right into it.

Here is my card for this weeks sketch:-

And here is the fun sketch from Karen for you to play along with:-

Given it is Valentines Day this weekend I thought I'd make a little "Coffee Date" Valentine's Card. I inked up my AWESOME Taylored Expressions Sprinkled with Love set... LOVE it!!!, and paper pieced the cups one in Red and one in Pink.. (that one's MINE!!) Added some Sprinkles and the rest pretty much speaks for itself. I was a little lost when I'd finished it all as to where to put my sentiment, contemplated even not putting one on it at all, and honestly, I'm still not 100% sure that I like what I've done with it... I'll keep looking at it, I'm sure I'll come around eventually.

Be sure to pop on over and visit the other Sweet Sunday Stampers for some AMAZING inspiraiton, they NEVER fail to inspire:-

And don't forget to link your card to Mr Linky over at Karen's blog so we can all see what you've created.

    sweet sunday #54 {fabulous friend}

Happy Sunday!!!! It's time for another fabulous sketch from the lovely Karen... so hope you can play along.

I REALLY enjoyed putting this weeks card together, granted I did have to start it a couple of times but am happy to say I'm VERY happy with the end result. I hope the "FABULOUS" person it's for likes it too and it put a smile on her face!!!

So here is the card I've made for this weeks sketch:-

And here is the sketch for you to see and play along with:-

I've started out with some Pink Pirouette (i know, I know.. MORE PINK!!!) added some Rose Red DSP to that then using my Apron Lace Punch (gee, have I mentioned how much I LOVE that punch!!!) cut some Old Olive. The square panel is Baja Breeze with some Baja Breeze DSP, then I used some of my Felt Fusion flowers.. FINALLY! Am I the only crafter who gets these DELICIOUS goodies then spends the next few months just looking at them in the tins and NOT using them... Please tell me I'm not the only one!!! Ive used a Rose Red flower, layered with Pink Pirouette flower and then finished off with a Choc Chip Button. Oh and the leaves they are one of the Old Olive Felt Fusion flowers just cut to create leaves... see I did use them!!! ;o)

The sentiment is again a combination of MY handwriting for the "fabulous" part and Basic Phrases for the Friend part.

Hope you like this one. Be sure to pop on over and visit the other Sweet Sunday Stampers for some AMAZING inspiraiton, they NEVER fail to inspire:-

    Sweet Sunday {sprinkles} #53

Happy Happy Sunday!!!! I hope you've had a wonderful weekend.

Well today is of course Sweet Sunday Sketch time and Karen has set us yet another fabulous sketch to work with.

I had SO much fun making this card... I got to play with my BRAND NEW stamp set, which I have to say was absolutely, without a doubt, made for my Beautiful Jorja and I. If you've dropped by before you've probably heard me mention that Jorja (who is 3) and I go on little "Sprinkle Drink" dates.... SO MUCH FUN!!!! Well the minute... nope actually the SECOND I saw this I just knew I HAD to have it, should there have been any doubts in my mind this prompt reaction of "oooohhh WOW Mummy!!!... Sprinkles... (insert *gasp*.... WOW Mummy a Donut!!!" in such excitement that only a sweet three year old could portray, DEFINATELY sealed the deal.

Here is the card I've made in all it's Sweet Sunday "Sprinkle" Goodness:-

And a little close up of the little "Sprinkle Glazed" Donut!!!:-

And here is the gorgeous sketch from Karen:-

You may notice that there is NO steam coming from the little drink... well I have to admit it is quite intentional.. you see I thought it only fair I make the very first card with my FABULOUS new set for Jorja... so this is her little "Sprinkle" drink... which is usually COLD and fully of FROTHY goodness... hahaha.

I've used Riding Hood Red as the base of my card and added some Riding Hood Red DP from the Candy Lane pack. I cut some circles one in Close to Cocoa and one in some Watercolour paper. The cup image is stamped in Cocoa and then I restamped it onto some DP and paper pieced it before sticking it to the main image... oooh that was a bit exciting too... I've not done any Paper Piecing before... there's a little story in that... perhaps one I'll share another day.. I don't want to scare you all away with my crazy antics!!!..I coloured the FROTHY goodness in using my blender pens and some So Saffron ink. Now for the Donut!!!... Well watching this little delight come to life was SOOOOO much fun... (Lee!!!! Don't you think???..*waving*)... and I must admit to there being rather random and loud squeals of joy and excitement all the way!!!!. Again i stamped the image in Cocoa and then coloured the base of the donut in Creamy Caramel and the top in Regal Rose... then I used some Crystal Effects to GLAZE it and added some "Sprinkles". The sentiment is also from the Sprinkled with Love set (Taylored Expressions) and I've stamped that with Choc Chip and Regal Rose. The panel behind is Pink Pirouette and some PP DP from Candy Lane. Just to finish it off I added some Red Riding Hood Taffeta Ribbon.
This card REALLY was a DELIGHT to make, and it was even more fun showing Jorja the finished thing this morning... I must admit to getting just the reaction I was hoping for... more squeals, more WOW Mummy!!!!, and then a little " Mummy.. Jorja want to stamp!!!... Absolutely made my morning!!!

Righty... enough of my rambling... be sure to pop on over and visit the other Sweet Sunday Stampers for some more AMAZING inspiration and fabulous eye candy:-

And don't forget to link your card to Mr Linky over at Karen's blog so we can all see what you've created.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I HOPE you made it to the end of the post without banging your head on the keyboard, begging me to stop!!!...ooops there I go again.. hahaha.

    Sweet Sunday Sketch #52 and a little {embellish}

Happy Sunday!!! Hope you've had a wonderful weekend. Here in Perth it's been a VERY hot weekend... I'm thinking a little touch of rain soon might be nice, I think we're up to day 57 without any rain... come on weather man... just a drop!!!

Well I'm sure the weather report is NOT the reason you've pop on in for a visit, so I best get onto the real reason... which is the Sweet Sunday Sketch!!!!.. Loved this layout from Karen, and this week I thought I'd combine her sketch with the {embellish} colour challenge. Now, I must admit the jury is still out on this card, but here it is and I HOPE you like it:-

    Here is Karen's GORGEOUS sketch:-

And here is the colour challenge from {Embellish} magazine :-

I started out with some Choc Chip as my base then layered it with some Close to Cocoa DSP, Elegant Eggplant, which is a colour I haven't actually used a lot of, thought this challenge was the PERFECT opportunity, some Almost Amethyst DSP and some Kraft card and Ribbon.
The main image is stamped onto some Kraft cardstock and I've used my Pocket Silhouette stamp set stamped in Lovely Lavender and then the sentiment stamped over the top in Elegant Eggplant. I added a couple of buttons to it and sponged the edges of the card to soften it just a tad. Oooh and I mustn't forget to mention my absolute FAVOURITE tool at the moment my APRON LACE PUNCH!!!!! (Divine.... *wink*)

And don't forget to link your card to Mr Linky over at Karen's blog so we can all see what you've created.

Want to play along with the {Embellish} magazine colour challenge then pop on over and check it out... it's really FUN!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

    sweet sunday sketch #43

Happy Sunday!!!! I'm SOOOOOO glad it's Sunday... and particularly more excited this Sunday than most... WHY I hear you ask.... well not only is it Sweet Sunday Sketch time, BUT, my GORGEOUS hubby is finally back home after being away for 10days.... YAY!!!!!! I would have to say this is the longest stint he has ever been away.... I'm thinking he shouldn't do it again.. hahaha.

Anyhoo..... onto the reason you are here... Sweet Sunday Sketch!!! Karen set us a "doozy" this week... well ok, probably not for you all, but for me.... GOODNESS... I think I had about 5 attempts at this one (all of which ended up in the bin) before I came up with the one I'm about to show you!!! You're probably wondering why I had so much trouble.... well.... there is indeed a CROOKED panel on this here sketch.... my Right Angled, nice and straight card making brain went into serious panic mode... don't worry though it didn't last too long!!! hahaha. (Love Ya Karen - *waving* and *smiling*!! hahaha)

    Onto the card:-

And here is Karen's tricky sketch (go on laugh at me, you know you want to... it's not that bad ... Right?... hahaha:-

I decided to keep it nice and simple given my current aversion to anything that isn't straight... perhaps I should play around with this one a little more and overcome my FEAR!!!
Sooooo...I started out with a base of Kraft card stock and added some Brilliant Blue DSP from my retired Jersy Shore pack then added a little bit of Bashful Blue Ribbon and a Brilliant Blue button... I am getting through my button collection!!!! I decided to use the hat stamp from Party Hearty and used my markers to colour them all in. I popped that onto a piece of Pumpkin Pie and distressed the edges a wee bit. So now I've actually tackled to fears in one card... A crooked card AND a BOYS card... YAY!!!!

Be sure to pop on over to the other Sweet Sunday Stamper's Blogs for some amazing inspiration:-

And don't forget to link your card to Karen's blog so we can all see what you've come up with.

The fabulous Nancy Riley is having a little break at the moment, but be sure to pop on over to visit.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I'm off to make hubby sit and listen to me chatter about the past week... he's got 10 days of listening to catch up on... hahahah... (Poor Love!!!)

    Inkspiration Sketch Challenge #15

Happy Friday!!!! Hope you've had a fabulous week and better still have a FABULOUS weekend.

It's time for another Inskspiration Challenge, and this week we have a SKETCH.... I do LOVE a sketch!!!!!

I really, REALLY enjoyed working with the sketch that Keesh set this week. And while the temptation to pull out my beloved Circle Circus set AGAIN almost took over.. I say almost, because in fear of you all getting SICK of me using it, I opted to add an extra card to my Chrissy stash... and I'm actually really happy with the outcome. Gosh hope you like it !!! hahaha.

Ooooh and now for the great sketch:-

I actually got the inspiration for this card from and absolutely STUNNING card I saw at the Perth Regionals last week. It was one of those jaw dropping, couldn't speak for a moment moments... the creator of said card was Tina Dickman... and YAY.. Tina has now posted her gorgeous card to her blog here, so be sure to pop on over and have a look... you wont be disappointed.

I started out with a base of Kraft... (well if I wasn't using Circle Circus, I couldn't NOT use Kraft!!! hahaha) then added a layer of White and some DSP from Ski Slope (in Baja Breeze). I used some Baja Breeze Dbl Stitched Ribbon and some Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon across the middle. I stamped my Poinsettia stamp from Season of Joy in Versamark then embossed it with Whisper White embossing powder mixed with a little Dazzling Diamonds then added a Rhinestone to the centre. There is a Kiwi Kiss Circle behind it just to bring it out a little more and also a White Scallop so it didn't get lost on the background. The sentiment is from my Hostess Set "Best Yet" and I used my White Embossing powder on that too. The Brads were silver and I dabbed them in Versamark and White embossing powder to make them White!!!.

Be sure to pop on over to the other Inkspiration DT girls blogs for some more AMAZING inspiration:-

    and of course KEESH

And dont' forget to have a play too.... link your creation to Keesh's blog so we all can see.

    Sweet Sunday Sketch #41

    Happy Sunday!!!!
WOW!!! What a weekend. Yesterday was the Perth Stampin' Up! Regional Training Event. And... it was SOOOOOOOOO much fun. I really had a ball. Getting to meet up with some amazingly wonderful, gorgeous and EXTREMELY talented ladies (*waving Lee and Sarah... oooh and Sarah's Mum and Aunty Mary (who I finally got to meet... that was exciting too!!!) We got to make some GORGEOUS projects, which I'll share with you soon I promise... you'll just have to wait until the NEW Mini comes out.. not long to go now, but let me assure you, YOU wont be disappointed!!!!

And today... SUNDAY... and another FABULOUS Sweet Sunday Sketch. Karen has set another BEAUTIFUL sketch for us this week.

    Here is my card:-

    And here is our sketch:-

I LOVE making Christmas cards, and I especially LOVE making them a little differently using PINK!!!! I know I'd LOVE to receive a PINK Chrissy Card... How about you... would you LOVE a Pink Chrissy Card?

I started out with some Kraft cardstock and to that layered some Pink Pirouette and Baja Breeze DSP from my Ski Slope pack. Then added another layer using Close to Cocoa and Kraft again this time creating my own background using my Season of Joy set and stamping the images in Versamark. The main image is stamped on Whisper White in Pink Pirouette. I re-stamped the small poinsettia in Regal Rose and added a little bling with Dazzling Diamonds. I also re-stamped the little snow flake in Baja Breeze and mounted that with some dimensionals.. oh and lets not forget about the other little bit of bling in the form of a pink rhinestone in the word 'season' ... did you see it? Rather than add circle to the top I used my creative license and added a Pink Pirouette bow. I don't think Karen will mind!! :o) (*smiling and waving Karen*)

Be sure to pop on over to the other Sweet Sunday Stamper gals blogs for some more amazing inspiration:-

Jen and Nancy unfortunately can't play this week, but be sure to pay them a visit and say HI. Oh and be sure to wish Lynn a HAPPY BIRTHDAY too. Happy Birthday Lynn (for yesterday).

THanks so much for stopping by.
