A little Easter Suprise!!!

HellO!!!!.. Ok so I know I said I'd have my Sweet Sunday Sketch card up for you... BUT.... my little one has been really unwell since Sunday so I've not had much time to sit down and craft :( BUT.... I'm hoping this little project I'm about to show you will have you all forgiving me!!! :D

I recently put my hand up to demonstrate a 3D project to a GORGEOUS and FABULOUS group of "Klassy Chicks" ( LOVE these girls!!!)... although I must admit that after I had raised my hand and said "I'll do it!!! I'll DO it!!!" I then started to have that PANIC.. oh dear what have I done feeling!!!

What does one create to show a group of fabulous stampers.. you know it can't be any ol' thing.. right??

So... I put my thinking cap on.. and honestly the placing of the thinking cap was relatively painless.. it wasn't until the thought (which I must add worked beautifully in my head!!) was attempted to be created that the PAIN set in. Now when you see this little project you'll laugh... and wonder what all the PAIN (fuss) was about.... I however can now understand why NO ONE in stamping land (well no one that I could find.. and if there is someone out there.. do let me know :D) had created an Easter Egg treat using Sweet Treat cups!!!.. So do you wanna see??

Here is my little Easter Treat!!:-

I'm REALLY.. REALLY pleased with how it turned out.. I figured that with a little person at Kindy now, I probably should try and be a little organised with special treats!! :D

Oh and I assure you.. once you've put one of these little babies together, the rest are easy.. it was just working it all so it looked cute and easter egg like and not like some crazy, stuck together blob!!!

I made the little Bunny on the front by using the circle and heart shapes from my Owl Punch!!.. And at first thought it looked a little... well a little Cat like!!.. But after consultation with a couple of "little" experts in the form of Miss Jorja and Miss Ella they assured me it was in fact a Bunny!!.. Who am I to argue.. hahah.

If you'd like to know more information about these little treats just let me know and I might actually be able to put together a little tutorial or heaven forbid a VIDEO!!! oooohhhh!!!!

I hope you like.. and thanks SO much for stopping by!!

xx Sarah

Sweet Sunday Sketch #97

Hello!!! Happy Sunday!!!! It's time of course for another fabulous Sweet Sunday Sketch!!

I had SOOOO much fun making my card for today!!.. SOOOO much FUN!!!

My BEAUTIFUL Jorja is turning FOUR tomorrow (*sniff*) so this little creation is for her (SMILE).Her favourite colours at the moment appear to be RED and GREEN.. quite appropriate I guess given her birthday is five days before Christmas.. although I think I'll need to be pushing the whole PINK thing soon.. hahahha. Any way... let me show you my card.. it's FUN and has a little something special on it!!! ooohhhh!!!

The card:-

The Sketch... FUN!!!!:-

Can you see the little suprise!!!???.. Well ok it's pretty hard to miss isn't it.. but did you know that that there BIG red flower is actually a HAIR CLIP!!??? Yep.. I made a hair clip so she can wear it in her hair for her sweet little "Morning Tea Party".. FUN.. RIGHT???!!!

I received my NEW Flower Folds Big Shot Die during the week and decided to have a little play. Now.. apart from having copious amounts of FUN making this little creation.. I have to say that FELT + BIGSHOT dies = BIG, BIG, BIG.. electric shock!!!.. that part not so much fun!!! hahaha.
There I go digressing again!!.. So I cut out FOUR of the second smallest flower and then went about stitching them together before "fluffing" them a tad and attaching them to a hair clip. The actual clip is clipped onto the card so that I just have to unclip it and the card can remain intact.. well ok that's the plan.. although I dare say that when Miss Jorja see's said card she might in all the excitement just RIP it off...hahaha

I'll be sure to take photos of it once it has been clipped into the Birthday Girls hair!!!

Be sure to visit the fabulous Sweet Sunday Stampers for some AMAZING inspiration:-

And don't forget to link your card to InLInkz over at Karen's blog so we can all see what you've created.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

All about Gifts!!!

Hello!!!!!

I'm still here!!.. I know I've been a little bit quiet recently posting new creations, so I apologise about that. But I thought I'd share this little treat with you.

At my last Stamp-a-Stack, which was heaps of fun, I got a couple of requests to show some GIFT ideas, given that there are a lot of 'Little People' about to have birthdays and of course the always and ever pending CHRISTMAS!!!!! (more on that later!!)... sooooo I made a little gift box which was the fastest gift box I've EVER made and is absolutely perfect for a Lolly Bag at one of the many birthdays that will be popping up over the next few months. It's also a sneek peak at what we'll be making at the next 'Class' I hold... rather than making just cards, I thought we'd ALL be brave (yep you too Bec!!!!) and make it 'All About Gifts'!!! I've got a few more things to make and post up for you, but the ever popular 'Chockie Slider' will also be included, so if you are interested in coming to one of these classes let me know (you can leave a comment on this post too if you like!!).. there will be more details in my newsletter which I'll hopefully send out this week.

Anyway... here is a pic of my little GIFT BOX!!!!

Isn't it cute???
