Sweet Sunday Sketch #118
Happy Sunday!!! I hope you've had a FABULOUS week.. it's time of course for another Sweet Sunday Sketch!!! I LOVED working with this one... perhaps it's because I think my MOJO has FINALLY returned!!.. It seemed to have gone into early retirement for a while... BUT... a BIG SU! COnvention has excited it enough to FINALLY come out!! YAY!!
Sooo.. here is my card for today's sketch:-
And here is the fabulous sketch for you to play along with:-
I've used my NEW Sew Suite stamp set today and gone a little bit girly vintage!!!
I'm SO pleased with how it turned out.. its not often an "IDEA" makes it to "CARD" and actually turns out as I'd planned.. so yep.. MAJOR happy dance going on here!!! hahaha
I thought it would be fun to make a little Vintage Lace skirt using my Victoria Crochet Trim and then made a little belt with some Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon with a little Pearl Jewel as the buckle and of course a little Pearl necklace.
Instead of scallops I made a lace ruffle and added another little Early Espresso 'belt" with a little Espresso bow.. which was made by colouring my retired Kraft (Crumb Cake) Taffeta Ribbon with my SU! Marker!! and because I was SO impatient I actually made the bow first and then coloured it in... see.. now waiting for it to dry!!! LOVE that!!! :D
The rest of the Sweet Sunday Stamper's have some AMAZING cards to show you too... sooooo... off you go.. go visit them and be INSPIRED:-
Thanks so much for stopping by.

A little Easter Suprise!!!
HellO!!!!.. Ok so I know I said I'd have my Sweet Sunday Sketch card up for you... BUT.... my little one has been really unwell since Sunday so I've not had much time to sit down and craft :( BUT.... I'm hoping this little project I'm about to show you will have you all forgiving me!!! :D
I recently put my hand up to demonstrate a 3D project to a GORGEOUS and FABULOUS group of "Klassy Chicks" ( LOVE these girls!!!)... although I must admit that after I had raised my hand and said "I'll do it!!! I'll DO it!!!" I then started to have that PANIC.. oh dear what have I done feeling!!!
What does one create to show a group of fabulous stampers.. you know it can't be any ol' thing.. right??
So... I put my thinking cap on.. and honestly the placing of the thinking cap was relatively painless.. it wasn't until the thought (which I must add worked beautifully in my head!!) was attempted to be created that the PAIN set in. Now when you see this little project you'll laugh... and wonder what all the PAIN (fuss) was about.... I however can now understand why NO ONE in stamping land (well no one that I could find.. and if there is someone out there.. do let me know :D) had created an Easter Egg treat using Sweet Treat cups!!!.. So do you wanna see??
Here is my little Easter Treat!!:-

I'm REALLY.. REALLY pleased with how it turned out.. I figured that with a little person at Kindy now, I probably should try and be a little organised with special treats!! :D
Oh and I assure you.. once you've put one of these little babies together, the rest are easy.. it was just working it all so it looked cute and easter egg like and not like some crazy, stuck together blob!!!
I made the little Bunny on the front by using the circle and heart shapes from my Owl Punch!!.. And at first thought it looked a little... well a little Cat like!!.. But after consultation with a couple of "little" experts in the form of Miss Jorja and Miss Ella they assured me it was in fact a Bunny!!.. Who am I to argue.. hahah.
If you'd like to know more information about these little treats just let me know and I might actually be able to put together a little tutorial or heaven forbid a VIDEO!!! oooohhhh!!!!
I hope you like.. and thanks SO much for stopping by!!
xx Sarah

Sweet Sunday Sketch #100
Happy Sunday!!!.. It's time of course for another FABULOUS sketch from the gorgeous Karen. Today... well TODAY is Sweet Sunday Sketch #100... yep.. 100... do i hear whistles going, drums banging and see streamers exploding!!!!.. How fun!!!
Ok.. I'll calm down now.. but just a little. Today, Karen has of course given us another amazing sketch to work with.. I will admit to struggling a little with this one... but I blame that soley on ME and not the amazing Sketch ... haha...
So.. here is my card for this week:-
And here is the sketch for you to play along with:-
I've used my Aviary stamp set for this one... It's such a beautiful set.. don't you think? The colour combo.. given I was struggling.. is my GO TO combo of Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette, Vanilla and a touch of Riding Hood Red thrown in for good measure.. oh let's not forget the Chocolate.. there is Chocolate on there too.. haha.
I stamped the cage in Choc Chip Ink and then the cute owl in Pink Pirouette.. he is there.. I promise.. perhaps I should've gone a shade darker so as to not cause multiple eye strains!!!... oops.
To add a little oomph.. i added some Pearls to the top of the cage and also just to finish the whole thing off around the circle. Oh... oh.. and also a little glimmer by the form of some Dazzling Diamonds around the Chocolate border of the main image panel.
A little sad news today too.... Today is going to be the Lovely Laura's last day with the Sweet Sunday Stampers.... *Sniff* I've loved working along side Laura.. her cards, her style, and HER.. always amazing, gorgeous and inspiring. Be sure to pop on over and give her LOTS of love today... she will be missed!!

Christmas in {pink and chocolate}
Now... don't fall off your chair in shock!!!.. I know it's mid week and I... Yes I, the one and only SJ have a card to show you.... ooohh!!!.. haha
I was recently asked to make a Christmas card in Pink and Chocolate, two of my VERY favourite colours.. yes I know you're all shocked to hear that!! hahah
The problem with being asked to make a particular card is that I tend to OVER THINK the whole thing... you know, start something, put it down, start another, look at the first thing, put it back down, look at the second thing, put that back down, start another thing... blah, blah.. you get the idea, Right?! Does anyone else have this "over thinking" problem or am I all alone?
Anyhoo... I came up with this, although the photo isn't really doing this Shimmery little card the justice it deserves. I LOVE the new Shimmer Paints, NO REALLY!!! I LOVE the new Shimmer Paints. All that gorgeous shimmery goodness in one little pot.. BUT... it's SOOOO hard to photograph!!!
Right... I'll stop blabbering and show you the card:-

The colour combo is Pink Pirouette, with Early Espresso, which has been put through my Big Shot with the GORGEOUS Vintage Wallpaper Impression Folder... LOVE!!! The baubles are from... can you guess???? YEP.. Contempo Christmas and are stamped in Espresso and then covered with SHIMMER PAINT!!! LOVE, LOVE!! Oh and the ribbon comes in the form of some satiny Pretty in Pink goodness... YUMMMMMM!!!!
So, what do you think??? YES or NO?
Thanks so much for stopping by.

And here is the sketch:-

Now it was hard choosing a fave.. i have to admit I could've chosen any... well ok almost any of them... apart from those pesky TILTED paneled one... but incase you need to have a TILTED moment.. pop on over and visit Vicki.. she's kindly used a TILTED look on hers.. hahaha
I thought I'd have a go and making a couple of Chrissy cards, and given they are usually required in abundance... this sketch is perfect... nice and simple!!!
I've used some now retired DSP, but really the NEW SU! DSP's would be PERFECT and my FAVE chrissy set Season of Joy!!
The colour combo is Crumb Cake (Kraft), Choc Chip, Real REd, Old Olive and some Baja Breeze.. LOVELY!!!
Don't forget to visit the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers and see what their FavoUrite was.. i'm sure they are all amazing :-
And don't forget to link your card to InLInkz over at Karen's blog so we can all see what you've created.

So.. right onto it then huh... here is my card for this weeks... What's your FavoUrite Sweet Sunday Sketch!!!:- ( I apologise for the photo ... with my computer dying.. along with that went my beloved Photoshop.. GASP!!!!..hopefully not for long though!!)

Here is my GIRLY Lollipop card:-

And here is the fabulous sketch:-

I've used Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana and Rose Red as my colour combo.. VERY GIRLY!!! To create the little Lollipops I've stamped one of the images from my Trendy Tree's set then embossed it in White... add a little toothpick (that's mainly because in my MAD rush to get this made I didn't have time to eat my way through THREE real lollipops to retrieve the sticks hahaha.
The sentiment is from my new Party this Way set (sooo cute).

Inkspriation Challenge #36
Happy Friday!!! Hope you've had a FABULOUS week and managed to sit down and do something CRAFTY!!!
Today Keesh has given us a GORGEOUS colour combo to play along with.
Here is my card:-

And here is the Colour combo so you can play along:-

This is my first time using Rich Razzleberry!! To be honest.. I actually find it a little intimidating!!! It's SO bright!!! hahaha. Because of the SCARY colour.. I've kept my layout pretty simple.. but then again.. I like pretty simple!!!
To the Razzleberry base I've added some Pretty in Pink DSP from my Sweet Pea stash, then cut a Choc Chip Scallop Square, added a little White square then stamped the SWEET little flower from Cheep Talk in Pretty in Pink and Choc Chip and used a Dimensional to adhere it to the square. The sentiment is from my NEW Tiny Tags and I've stamped that in Choc Chip.
Be sure to pop on over and visit the rest of the Inkspiration DT for some more amazing inspiration:-

Inkspiration Sketch Challenge #35
Happy Friday!!! It's time for another Inkspiration Challenge.. and after a week off I HOPE you'll all play along.
Today Keesh has given us a sketch to work with. I had fun putting this little card together.
Here's my card:-

And here's the sketch:-
I've started out with with a base of Pink Pirouette and then added some Choc Chip DSP from my Sweet Pea DSP pack. The next layers are Kraft and Pretty in Pink DSP (again from Sweet Pea) then some Pink Pirouette Extra wide Ribbon and a touch of Kraft taffeta ribbon. The image is from one of my absolute FAVES and soon to be retiring..(VERY, VERY sad about that!!) Nursery Necessities (actually this little set is already running low, Soooo if you don't have it and you think that you MUST.. because really YOU MUST!!.. then email me and order it ASAP!!!.. I'd hate for you to miss out :D ) I've stamped the sweet little Elephant in Whisper White Craft ink onto Kraft then sponged around the edges. I also added a little bit of Pink Pirouette ink sponged over the top and then plonked her little ear right into a tub of Dazzling Diamonds. I finished it off with some little PRetty in Pink buttons.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #80
Happy Sunday!!! We're Back!!!!! Karen has once again given us a fabulous sketch to play with.. she's SO clever isn't she?
This is also a birthday card for a very gorgeous friend of mine, who will get this little creation this morning!!!
So onto the important stuff... the card:-

And THE sketch:-

I've used Baja Breeze, Pretty in Pink and some So Saffron DSP from my Sweet Pea DSP pack, I've also used some Cork, which I've had lying around on my desk for YEARS!!!!!
I decided to ink up my Papertrey Ink Blooming Button Bits for this one and stamped the images directly onto the Cork. The little flower pot is stamped in Choc Chip and then restamped and raised up on some dimensionals and the flower stamped TWICE in Old Olive. The little flowers were punched out using my Trio Flower Punch (which is retiring and currently on the Last Chance List.... so if you'd like one LET ME KNOW!!!) and I added some Pink Rhinestones to the centre. To add a final touch and moreso because I can't seem to function if my cards don't have some form of ribbon on them.. bwhahaha.. I've used some Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #79
I'm SOOOOOO sorry I'm SOOOO late with my Sweet Sunday Sketch Card!!! Really I am.. I HATE being late!!! My little ones are still on the mend, so amongst a VERY sick littlest one and ABSOLUTELY NO sleep I figured it was quite possible safer for everyone if I waited until I'd had some SLUMBER moments before attempting to create a card. My goodness I may have frightened you off for ever otherwise. hahah!!. Fortunately my littlest one seems to be MUCH better.
Now onto the important stuff.. Karen has once again given us a GORGEOUS sketch, of course I'm sure you've already seen it (Lateness ... remember!!.. hahaha). So here is my card for this weeks sketch:-

And here is the gorgeous sketch:-

I've used Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red and Old Olive as my main colours. The panel across the card is Old Olive Ribbon which I've folded to create a pretty little feature. I've used my Best Yet stamp set and added a little Pink Pirouette flower as an accent. This one is pretty simple, but simple is sometimes good.. Right? AND.. you can't ever have enough FRIEND cards in your stash.. can you?
I'm SURE you already have, but if not be sure to pop on over and visit the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stamper's for some amazing inspiration:-

Inkspiration Challenge #33
Happy Friday!!! Hope your week has been FABULOUS!!! It's time of course for another Inkspiration Challenge, and today we have a SKETCH!!!
I've left this card to literally the LAST second!!! OOOPS... but I'm actually kinda happy with how it turned out.
Want to see???? Oh oK!!

Here is Keesh's sketch for you to play along with too:-

I received the GORGEOUS little Pure Innocence stamp from my equally GORGEOUS friend Karen a few weeks ago and have been wanting to ink her up for as long!!!... Well FINALLY she's seen some ink, and she's SOOOO cute!!! Don't you think???
I've paper pieced her little dress and the lollypop and then coloured the rest of her using my SU! Markers and Blender Pens. Ooh, Ooh I almost forgot.. her little shoes.. sooo cute!!!.. well I added a little crystal effect to make them appear like they are cute little Patent shoes.. CUTE!!!!
The colour combo I've used is Melon Mambo, Vanilla and Kraft and the DSP is my FAVE.. Candy Lane. Just to add a little something extra I've added a splash of Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #78
Happy Sunday!!! It's time of course for another FABULOUS sketch from the gorgeous Karen.
This weeks sketch was GORGOEUS.. although I will admit to OVERTHINKING it a little which in turn ended up driving me insane, because I has SOOOO many ideas floating around in my head.. hahaha .. Anyone else do that?
Soooo.. here is my card for this weeks sketch:-

And here is the fabulous sketch:-

I've used Pink Pirouette, So Saffron, Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip as my colour combo. First up the base of the card is Pink Pirouette and to that I've added some So Saffron DSP from my Sweet Pea DSP pack then some GORGEOUS Wide Pink Pirouette Ribbon. The square layers are Baja Breeze and Baja Breeze DSP then Choc Chip with some Whisper White. The sweet little cupcake is from my Party Hearty set (gees that set is seeing a LOT of ink lately.. hahaha) and the sentiment is from my Life Definitions set.. I couldn't resist colour the "tickled pink" bit in in PINK!!! hahaha
For the little embellishment frenzy in the corner I made a little banner from the Party Hats in the Party Hearty set.
The jury is still out on this one.. I can't seem to figure out what it is missing..... I'm guessing that if I stare at it for long enough the solution will come to me in the form of a MAJOR head slap OR I'll just decide that I do like it and leave it be. I do have someone in mind as the recipient for this one, but it will all depend on whether I can figure out if I really like it (the card.. not the person.. bwhahaha) or not.
