Sweet Sunday Sketch #191

Hello!!!!... Firstly, let me apologise for my low profile of sorts of late. My beautiful little family and I have all been fighting a few nasty bugs for the past few weeks and they've left us all doing pretty much nothing but trying to recover fully. I think I can safely say, that we are well and truly back to normal... well almost! NOW... it's Sunday!! Which means... it's Sweet Sunday Sketch time!!.. I've missed playing with my gorgeous Sweet Sunday Stampers.

Here is my card for this weeks sketch:-

I've used some of the NEW In-Colors for this card... I have to say, they could quite possibly be my most favourite In-Color, colours!. Strawberry Slush, Costal Cabana and Crisp Cantaloupe are the colours I've used. The stamp set I used is Yippee-Skippee, and I've LOVED this saying since the millisecond I saw it at the South Pacific Convention in May. It ALWAYS makes me smile!! I've used my Stampin' Write Markers to colour the image. I've added some Silver Glimmer Paper, Victoria Crochet Trim and some Strawberry Slush Ruffled ribbon as well as a Designer Vintage Faceted button with some White Bakers Twine which I coloured Strawberry Slush!! Oooh... I added some yummy Vanilla Smooch Spritz too.... because everything is better with sparkles, right!?

One more thing before I go.... next Saturday ( 24th August) I have the pleasure of presenting at the Perth leg of the Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio - Make a Statement Tour!! If you live in the Perth area I'd LOVE to see you there. It's going to be an awesome day ( what Stampin' Up! event isn't awesome!!) and if you'd like to come pop on over here and register! I've used lots of NEW goodies on this card... let's see... Chalk Talk and the coordinating Chalk Talk Framelits!!! LOOOOOVEEE!!!! Um...RIBBON!!!.. OH yes... the NEW In-Color Ribbon... DIVINE!!!.. I've used a teeny bit of Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar and Costal Cabana. Oh and of course a GORGOUS Very Vintage Designer Button. There is also some gorgeous Core'dinations Card Stock in Costal Cabana and some equally gorgeous Birthday Basics DSP.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #188

Happy Sunday!!! It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch, so I hope you can join US and of course our BRAND NEW Sweet Sunday Stamper Sisters'!!

I actually had heaps of fun putting this card together. It's the first time I've had a chance to sit down and my stampin' desk and create something with my NEW goodies, AND... I can't wait to sit down again soon and do more.

When I went to Convention (back in May!), all the attendees were lucky enough to receive this stamp set ' Really Good Greetings'. I absolutely adore it and am so pleased with how this turned out.

I've used some of the new and GORGEOUS colours... Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar and Costal Cabana ( and thanks to an equally gorgeous stampin' sister, everytime I type, think or use Costal Cabana, I burst into song!!!.. AND now it would be quite likely, you are too!! ;-).

I've also used my Polka Dot embossing folder, my  Fancy Fan embossing folder, Delicate Designs embossing folder and Needlepoint Border embossing folder ... Goodness! The Large Scallop Edgelit got a little play too.

One of the GORGEOUS Designer Very Vintage buttons adorns the bottom of the greeting also.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #186

Hello!!!! Long time no hear, right??? My apologies for that. I'm back this week though for a NEW Sweet Sunday Sketch.

Sooo... this card didn't quite work out the way I'd hoped... it looked much better in my head than it seemed to turn out... hmmmm... perhaps I'll play a little more with it and see if I can get it to, well work out a little better.

I've used Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Calypso Coral and GUmball Green as my colour combo ( I took some inspiration for that COMBO from the NEW This and That set in the upcoming NEW SU! Catalogue!!). The stamp set is Summer Silhouettes and the sentiment is from my Create a Cupcake set. I've also used a NEW set Gorgeous Grunge, it will be in the NEW Catalogue which is due to be released on the 1st July!!! Gorgeous Grunge allows you to be perfectly imperfect with splotches, lines and drops!!.. LOVE that... my crafting OCD for perfect placement LOVES that too .. hehe.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #184

I'm just sneaking in here... possibly unnoticed, quite likely a little noticed with my Sweet Sunday Sketch, which should've be here last week, but, well... it's a BIG bit late... SORRY!!

I've been battling a cold and a bout of Laryngitis this past week, so haven't had much of a chance to sit down and type my post.

I won't ramble on, so here is my card for the last this weeks sketch ;-) :-

I've use Island Indigo, Tangerine Tango and Whisper White as my colour combo and kept this one pretty Clean and Simple... I did have a little helper with this one ( my little 4yr old) so don't look too closely at the off centred centre piece... oops.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #183

Happy Sunday!!! It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch!!. I hope you can join us and play along.

You might want to sit down for this one!!!.. I've gone all crazy this week and actually made a BOYS card!!! YEP!!!! A MALE CARD!!! Not a drop of pink to be seen... not ONE!! I did manage to squeeze a little something special onto it, but I'll let you figure that one out ;-)

I've used Soft Suede, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake as my colour base and added a little colour with a Baja Breeze tie. The stamp set is Best Dad Ever. I really need to use that one more. It's such a fun and easy stamp set to use to create BOY cards!! ;-) Who'd have thunk it! I've added a few little extras... some Linen Thread, Button Boutique Button and some Rhinestones (I told you I squeezed something special onto it!! ) ;-)
