Retro Fresh!!!.... Oh Snap!

I'm baaaacck!!! As promised here is another sample I made from the Retro Fresh card candy. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, check this post out and it will explain everything! :D

This card has a Very Vanilla base with a piece of Tangerine Tango card stock which has been embossed with the Arrows Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The card candy piece is the cute tag, which was made using Costal Cabana card stock and the NEW Tag Topper Punch!!! AWESOME. It also included the cute embellishments... made using... Retro Fresh DSP, the cute Camera from the On Film Framelits and OH SNAP from the very hip, HIP NOTES stamp set!
I also added some Natural Chevron Ribbon and a little piece of gold trim from the Sequins Trim!

Retro Fresh!!.... hello

Hi! If you're looking for this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch sample, it's right here! 

Hi there!!! Last Sunday a group of gorgeous gals (and myself) joined forces and hosted a Catalogue Launch EXTRAVAGANZA!!!! Months of planning, chatting, stampin', chatting, chatting, stampin', chatting ;-) went into organising the day, and it was AWESOME!!!

I really do have to constantly remind myself how very fortunate I am to have such amazing, gorgeous and talented ladies in my life, and none of whom I would've met had it not been for the amazing company Stampin' Up!! Seriously!!.. I can't imagine my life without them in it now!!

Soooo... with our NEW Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-bration brochure in hand, we set about creating gorgeous displays, samples, make and takes and SHOW BAGS!!! It really was an AWESOME day!! One of the little treats in the Show Bags was a little 'Card Candy' bag. There were three different 'Candies', so it was lovely to see everyone open their bags and compare what they had received.

I made some samples using the 'Retro Fresh' Card Candy, so I thought I'd share with you over the next three days the samples I made. We had these up on display so everyone who attended could get some quick, simple ideas of how to use what they had in their bags at home!! FUN!!!

Today's card is....... Hello!

The piece of card candy is the gorgeous "Starburst" of Baked Brown Sugar, which has been embossed with the NEW Arrows Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, a Calypso Coral heart from the Perfect Pennants Stamp set and a Hello banner, also from Perfect Pennants. I added a strip of Retro Fresh DSP (seriously LOVE that DSP!!) and some Gold Bakers Twine. Quick and Simple.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #207

Happy Sunday! It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch, I hope you can join us! :D

Here is my card for this weeks sketch:-

I've kept this one pretty clean and simple. The colour combo is Whisper White, Strawberry Slush, Costal Cabana, Gold and a splash of Crisp Cantaloupe.

I've used my On Film Framelits to cut the Gold Film Frame and my Thinlets - Circle Card for the 'xoxo'. I also stamped the Wish Big sentiment from ' A Dozen Thoughts' directly on to one of my Essential Wooden Elements embellishments, HOW FUN!!!. I cut a heart using the Thinlets, out of Burlap Ribbon (because I don't seem to be able to make a card at the  moment unless it has some burlap on it ;-) ) and added a little splash of Crisp Cantaloupe ribbon and a gold sequin.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #205

Happy Sunday!!! It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, I hope you can join us this week for another FUN sketch!!

I've used lots of new goodies on this card. The DSP is from the NEW Occasions Catalogue and is called the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack (it's FABULOUS!!!). I've created the background of the middle panel using the Ampersand Embossing Folder ( NEW!!). I've embossed it using the Big Shot Machine onto Core'dinations Card stock in Costal Cabana and then stamped the you & me image from the NEW Perfect Pennants stamp set. I added a few Gold Sequins and a little tag of the NEW Natural Chevron Ribbon.

The colour combo is Crumb Cake, Costal Cabana, Whisper White and Real Red.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #204

Happy Sunday, and Happy Australia Day to all of my Aussie followers!!! It's time, of course for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. I hope you can join us!

I have to admit, I seriously struggled with this weeks sketch, and, I have absolutely no idea why. But, after throwing a couple of cards in the bin, I finally settled on this one:-

I've used a bevvy of NEW goodies from the up and coming Occasions Catalogue on this one. Water Color Washi!!!, Sequins!!!, Gold Bakers Twine!!!.. oooh and smidge of some gorgeous Sale-a-bration DSP.... you have to look closely... it's the large butterfly ;-).

The colours are simple... Whisper White, Gold and Crisp Cantaloupe. The sentiment is from the Happy Watercolor Stamp Set (available in 2 days!!!)

Sweet Sunday Sketch #203

Happy Sunday!!! It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch, I hope you'll join us!. How fun is it that we get to play along weekly again!?... LOVE it!

Here is my card for this weeks challenge:-

I've use Calypso Coral as the base of this card. The other colours have come from the Color Coach (it's always right, you know! ;-) ), and the Watercolor Wonder DSP, which will be available your you to purchase VERY soon. The background I made using one of the stamps from the Happy Watercolor stamp set (also available soon... it's in the up and coming Occasions Catalogue), and the colours are Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, Crisp Cantaloupe and Calypso Coral. The sentiment is also from Happy Watercolour and it's been stamped in Calypso Coral. Some Calypso Coral bakers twine, a fabulous Vintage Doily, some Burlap and some Vanilla Spritz and it's pretty much come to life. Oh, some sweet little butterflies using my small Butterfly Punch and Pearls.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #202

Happy Sunday!!!! I hope you had a wonderful New Year!! I've been away for two weeks with my beautiful family, enjoying the sunshine and sea air!! It was WONDERFUL!!! I'm back now and ready to get started with our WEEKLY, Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenges!!!

I've used Bermuda Bay, Costal Cabana, Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo for my colour combo today!! Actually, it's courtesy of the Color Coach!. I stamped the sentiment from the Million and One Stamp Set in Versa Mark and then embossed it with Melon Mambo embossing powder. I added a sweet Vintage Doily to the Melon Mambo Flag and some Rhinestones and a Costal Cabana Button.
