Sweet Sunday Sketch #84
Happy Sunday!!! I hope you're ready for another FABULOUS Sweet Sunday Sketch. The AMAZING Nancy McKinney is the amazing sketch artist AGAIN this week and I have to tell you this one is GORGEOUS.
I've been wanting to try my hand at a "Lollipop" card for AGES.. and well.. TODAY is the day!!!
Here is my GIRLY Lollipop card:-

And here is the fabulous sketch:-

I've used Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana and Rose Red as my colour combo.. VERY GIRLY!!! To create the little Lollipops I've stamped one of the images from my Trendy Tree's set then embossed it in White... add a little toothpick (that's mainly because in my MAD rush to get this made I didn't have time to eat my way through THREE real lollipops to retrieve the sticks hahaha.
The sentiment is from my new Party this Way set (sooo cute).

Inkspiration Challenge #38 {colour}
It's FRIDAY!!! Which also means it's time for another Inkspiration Challenge and today we've got a Colour Combo for you!!!
When you see my card you make have a little case of de ja vu... Don't panic.. I PROMISE I made this one just for this challenge although I'm SERIOUSLY in love with this amazing sketch from my gorgeous friend Karen and have to admit to making SEVERAL cards with this design. I'll try hard to deviate from it soon!!! hahaha
So here is my card for this weeks challenge:-

And here is the colour combo for you to play along with:-

I've started with a base of Baja Breeze, and to that added a strip of Choc Chip and a piece of Baja Breeze DSP from my now retired Ski Slope pack. My flower is made using my scallop circle punch and cutting out 3 scallops then faux sueding them to create six slightly softer scallops (makes for easier scrunching!!!) I added a Rhinestone Brad to the centre and some Old Olive ribbon for the petals. The sentiment is from my Tiny Tags set and I've used 'merry' because I thought this one might actually be able to pass as a Chrissy card.. well ok MAYBE!!!

Happy Friday!!! I hope you're looking forward to a FABULOUS sketch challenge from Keesh today. This one is FUN... SO PLEASE do play along.
Today it is Chantelle's turn to host the challenge and she's added an extra little twist to the fabulous sketch.. that twist... POLKA DOTS!!! Ooohhh... I do LOVE polka dots!!!!
So here is my card:-

And here is the Sketch:-

I've used Brilliant Blue, Wild Wasabi, Kraft, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White, a colour combo I might add I generally don't use.. why?.. well because there isn't any PINK!!! hahaha. But I needed a BLOKEY kinda card.. and well these colours seem to fit that!!! Right?
The stamp set I used is one of my faves... Party Hearty and I added a little ribbon and some Hodgepodge just to finish it off. You all know that if there is a way to include ribbon on ANY card.. I'll DO IT!!! hahaha.
