Happy Birthday DAD!!!!
It was my Dad's Birthday yesterday and I think it's pretty safe to assume that he ISN'T going to be checking out my BLOG before I actually get to see him tomorrow.
But any way he truly is the HANDIEST person I know so I thought this card would suit him to a T... I got the idea from 'here'.
But any way he truly is the HANDIEST person I know so I thought this card would suit him to a T... I got the idea from 'here'.
All I did was sponge the Kraft cardstock with Chocolate Chip Ink to give it a 'Faux Leather' Look, and use my needle and piercing mat to create the faux stitching.
The tools, I had to find on the internet... my brain wasn't functioning well enough to try and create them using my stamps... believe me I thought about it... and then thought against it..haha.
Here's what I used:-
Stamps:- It's your Birthday
Ink:- Chocolate Chip, Craft White
Paper:- Kraft, Choc Chip
Accessories:- Sponge, Brads, Paper Piercing Mat, Needle.

Happy Birthday Bec!!!
Hello!!!
Well it is my lovely friend Bec's Birthday tomorrow and it's now safe to post this because I actually gave it to her tonight.
I thought I'd show you the card I made for her, the idea actually came from the lovely and extremely talented Sarah Klass a fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator. I've changed the colours around a tad, and for those of you who know me, well I couldn't resist.... I just HAD to add a little splash of something PINK... I honestly set out to make a card with out any Pink at all... but oh well I failed.
I used my large circle punch to get a circle and folded it in quarters to that it would be a little easier to get all of the petals where they needed to be... I thought It was pretty clever, but somebody has probably already thought of it... I was chuffed I thought of it... hahaha, then I grabbed a Pretty in Pink Button and dressed it up with Purely Pomegranate Ink and tied some Linen Thread through it before I attached it.
I hope you all like it. Here's what I used:-
Stamps:- Pick a Petal, It's your Birthday
Ink:- Chocolate Chip, Purely Pomegranate
Paper:- Kraft, Confetti White, Chocolate Chip
Accessories:- Purely Pomegranate Dble Stitched Ribbon, Paper Snips (woo hoo), Stampin' Dimensionals, Soft Subtle Buttons, Linen Thread

MY NEW GALLERY!!!!!
Hello Everyone.
I made this one over the weekend, to take to Tracy's workshop, as the 'Make and Take'.
We made the First one as the Make and Take, just thought I'd show the same card in a different colour combo. They were really simple to make all I did was score and fold the Kraft cardstock, then distress the edges of the Confetti White Cardstock with my scissors, stick on some DSP and tie on some ribbon.... have I mentioned how sad I am that the Taupe Grosgrain has been retired!!!!, then once I'd stamped the images, I just cut them out separately with my NEW BEST FRIEND!!!!... my paper snip scissors... OMG... these are amazing and you MUST try them if you haven't.... there is definately no turning back once you've used them... And them stuck the candles onto the back of the cupcake and used some SNAIL to adhere to the base of the cake and popped it all up on some Dimensionals. So here are the tools:-
Card One:-
Stamp:- Big Bold Birthday
Ink:-Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi, So Saffron
Paper:- Kraft, Confetti White, PoP/DSP Certainly Celery
Accessories:- Stampin' Dimensionals, Taupe Grosgrain Ribbon (UNFORTUNATELY RETIRED :o(. )
Card Two:-
Stamp:- Big Bold Birthday
Ink:- Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, Tempting Turquoise
Paper:- Kraft, PoP So Saffron, Confetti White
Accessories:- Tempting Turquoise Grosgrain, Stampin' Dimensionals.

For my first attempt... I'm pretty happy with how they turned out... I'll just have to keep practicing.

The Beautiful Jorja!!!
Have I got some EXCITING news for you all... and for those of you who know Jorja well (the whole 17months of her) you will know that she NEVER does things the easy way.... been that way since she was born.... hahaha
Lets start at the beginning shall we... as you know we've been waiting for our little darling to get some more teeth, moreso to keep her solitary front tooth company (the one on the top that took 16months to come through!!!) yep had absolutely NO interest in getting her teeth in the correct order. Well this will make you all giggle... as we were having a little play this afternoon and in a fit of giggles I managed to get a rare glimpse into her mouth... she usually keeps it firmly locked when I want to investigate her teeth...hahaha... Well to my suprise, given Shaney and I have been waiting for the BOTTOM one to come through, I noticed something, and NO it wasn't any of the bottom teeth, but in fact what I believe to be a MOLAR!!! I will need to confirm this of course when Jorja doesn't give me the 'Lock Jaw' move :o). But I'm pretty sure. Lets just say it's either the Molar or her Eye tooth.... either way shouldn't be the second one she gets.
You can always count on our Beautiful Jorja to do things differently!!!

For Shane's Mum I thought I'd give the technique 'Crayon Resist' a go... I've never done this before, but I was quite pleased with my very first attempt. I actually got this idea from 'here' .
So now that you've read about them I guess I should show you all a picture and then tell you what I used. Here you go.

Yummy Mummy Stamp-a-Stack!!!
Well Hello There!!!!
I'm getting very excited about hosting my FIRST 'Stamp-a-Stack', and of course it's not going to be just any ordinary one... of course it's for the Yummy Mummy's!!!! (and we musn't forget the Yummy Granny that will be attending too!!)
Well, I've been very busy tonight, actually amazed myself at my creative streak at such an obscure hour and have managed to come up with a couple of cards for us all to make on Wednesday night... just a sneek peek!!!!... I couldn't resist really.
I hope you like.
Here is the first one!!! Here I used Very Vanilla Cardstock with a splash of Groovy Guava (from the new In Colour range) and Mellow Moss. The Inks were Groovy Guava and Mellow Moss and the Stamp set was the brand spankin' new Pick a Petal (gorgeous!!) and Curvy Verses.
Maybe we can try it in a different colour combo too??
Oh... OK.. one more sneek peek... better not give all the secrets away before the big night. The second one here is......
..... Again Very Vanilla Cardstock with Bashful Blue and Mellow Moss. The Giraffe is from one of my favourite stamp sets 'Wild About You' and the words are from one of the new Hostess Sets 'So Many Sayings' (Love this one too!!) Inks used were Bashful Blue and Mellow Moss and of course lets not forget the Bashful Blue ribbon and some Linen Thread for the Bow Tie!!!
Well I guess I best be off to get some REST before my little darling decides to wake up for a NEW DAY!!!!
Hope you all like the new cards and I can't wait for Wednesday night... I'll keep you posted.
Sarah xx
