Christmas in {pink and chocolate}
Now... don't fall off your chair in shock!!!.. I know it's mid week and I... Yes I, the one and only SJ have a card to show you.... ooohh!!!.. haha
I was recently asked to make a Christmas card in Pink and Chocolate, two of my VERY favourite colours.. yes I know you're all shocked to hear that!! hahah
The problem with being asked to make a particular card is that I tend to OVER THINK the whole thing... you know, start something, put it down, start another, look at the first thing, put it back down, look at the second thing, put that back down, start another thing... blah, blah.. you get the idea, Right?! Does anyone else have this "over thinking" problem or am I all alone?
Anyhoo... I came up with this, although the photo isn't really doing this Shimmery little card the justice it deserves. I LOVE the new Shimmer Paints, NO REALLY!!! I LOVE the new Shimmer Paints. All that gorgeous shimmery goodness in one little pot.. BUT... it's SOOOO hard to photograph!!!
Right... I'll stop blabbering and show you the card:-
The colour combo is Pink Pirouette, with Early Espresso, which has been put through my Big Shot with the GORGEOUS Vintage Wallpaper Impression Folder... LOVE!!! The baubles are from... can you guess???? YEP.. Contempo Christmas and are stamped in Espresso and then covered with SHIMMER PAINT!!! LOVE, LOVE!! Oh and the ribbon comes in the form of some satiny Pretty in Pink goodness... YUMMMMMM!!!!
So, what do you think??? YES or NO?
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Oooh! I LOVE it! This is one of my favourite colour combos too. And I totally get the over thinking thing. I do it with almost every card. I frustrate myself so much!!
Completely adore it! Pink and Chocolate - you cannot go wrong. Another of my favorites is Aqua and Chocolate!
A big "YES" from me - LOVE it!

And, the over-thinking thing...oh yeah, me too!
Brown and pink are my favorite color combination but never thought I could use it for my Christmas cards. Thank you for this absolutely beautiful example.
It's a YES!!!! I wouldn't of guessed that would of looked so awesome as a Christmas card ~ but it absolutely does! I love how you are using the Contempo Christmas set. Thanks for the inspiration!
