Sweet Sunday Sketch #132

Happy Sunday!!! I'm SO sorry this is up a tad late, but I really do have a good reason. I've just helped a group of gorgeous stampin' girls pull off the EVENT EXTRAVAGANZA!! No really!!... It was. Together we created and shared what we LOVE and do best (apart from being a mummy!! hehehe) with 60, YES.. SIXTY lovely ladies as we introduced them to the NEW SU! Catty which goes LIVE in 4 days!!! WOO HOO!!.. I was actually in charge of demonstrating the NEW, gorgeous fabric today, and well, after a whole lot of angst, a minor panic attack.. oh ok, it wasn't that bad, I actually did it.. I DEMONSTRATED the new fabric. YAY!! To most that probably doesn't sound that significant, but for me, little ol' me who's NEVER done that before, especially in front of that many people.. WOW!!!

Anyhoo.. we had a fabulous day,  we are all now suitably TIRED!!! and ready for a day to settle down just a tad!!.. BUT.. before I did that I had to, HAD to get this little post done for you all.

First though!!.. Here's a little shot of us all after the big event.... did you notice my little apron??.. It's made out of our NEW Flirtatious Fabric!!! I made it myself!!! Ok.. enough back patting.. hahaha.

I've used some new goodies from the new Catty today. The FABRIC!!!, the Flirtatious DSP!!!! and that's about it for newness!!. My colour combo is Melon Mambo, PRetty in Pink, Whisper White.

The little button there is purely there because well the sketch said so (hahaha) and because I couldn't figure out what else to put there without making it look all too busy. I'll sleep on it and perhaps change it out tomorrow.. hmmm.. thoughts!!????

Sweet Sunday Sketch #131

HappY Sunday!!! I hope you've had a fabulous weekend. We've been busy with sweet little birthday parties to attend.. seriously, those little people of mine have a demanding social life!! hahaha

Anyhoo.. you're here of course for another Sweet Sunday Sketch. I LOVED playing with this one.. it just kinda came together for me, which is nice, seen as everything else this week and kinda NOT come together (on the card making front I mean..)

Soooo.. here is my card:-

And here is the fabulous sketch:-

I've used Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo and Whisper White as my colour combo. I embossed the main panel with my Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder which I'd sponged beforehand with some Crumb Cake ink to give it a little more.. PUNCH!!!  Some little butterflies, pearls and little ribbon later and VOILA!! DONE!!

THANKYOU for being so patient with me!!.. You don't even want to know the calamity of events that went on to get this card posted!!.. Nope you really don't. And this is all after the FLAT BATTERY incident!!! Goodness!!

Well you may notice that my card isn't here in this post. It would appear that my camera battery is D.E.A.D.! Yep kaput!! Sooooo... as soon as it has some life in it, and I have some Light to photograph my card I'll post it up here on my lil' ol' bloggo!!!

A Welcome EXTRAVAGANZA!!!!

It's ALMOST here!!!... The MOST and I mean MOST EXCITING time of the Stampin' Up! Calendar!!!... THE LAUNCH of the AMAZING, FABULOUS and BRAND NEW Idea's Book and Catalogue!!!

This year I'm teaming up with an AMAZING group of Stampin' gals to bring you a Launch EXTRAVAGANZA!!!! It's going to be an AMAZING afternoon, filled with fun, laughter, chatter and of course the NEW 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Catalogue!!!

Venue: St Mary’s Anglican Church Hall, 9 Ridge Street, South Perth

Sweet Sunday Sketch #129

Happy Sunday!!!! I'm LATE!!.. I'm LATE!!!! BUT..... I have to say this FABULOUS sketch from Karen allowed me to actually sit down and make a card, photograph it, and blog post it in less than an hour!!! AMAZING!!! So, I hope you get a chance to sit down and play along... it really is a FABULOUS sketch!! AND.... not a TILTED panel in sight!!!!

I'm giving all my AUSSIE readers a little sneak peek from the NEW Ideas Book and Catalogue due out SOON!!!! Woo Hoo!!!! This is one of the gorgeous stamp sets we received at the SU! Convention in May!! It's a gorgeous set and I can't wait to play with it some more. I've also used one of the colours I've been a little bit scared of.. actually more like terrified of... Concord Crush, and I think I may have tamed my fears somewhat!! What do you think!!!???

Oohhh and before I forget!!... I've got some VERY exciting news about a VERY EXCITING event, so pop back later for all the deets!!.. Unfortunately this VERY EXCITING event is only for my PERTH readers, but you can still come back to read all about it!!! :D
