Sweet Sunday Sketch #122

Happy Sunday!!! Seriously!! These weeks seem to be going by faster and faster! I can't believe it's Sunday AGAIN!!

We have a BUSY day in the Kalé abode today, celebrating my fabulous and amazing husband's birthday!!. Of course, his birthday usually results in some sort of FESTIVAL!! hahaha. He's off to his Mum and Dads at the moment for a YUMMY lunch with Miss J, unfortunately Miss E is unwell so we have to stay home :(. BUT... the reason your here is not to hear about the FESTIVAL, but to check out this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch!!

Here is my card:-

And here is the sketch for you to play along with:-

I've attempted the amazing and gorgeous Sharnee's Torn Paper Frame technique today... Sharnee demonstrated this at Convention this year and I have to say.. I'm going to require a LOT more practice before I get it looking anything close to Sharnee's

I've used Crumb Cake, Melon Mambo and Early Espresso as my colour combo and stamped the vase image from the current Autumn Mini hostess set A Slice of Life.

To create the first part of the circle I actually embossed the image then sponged over the image with my Champagne Shimmer mist, before colouring it in.

The rest of the Sweet Sunday Stamper's have some AMAZING cards to show you too... sooooo... off you go.. go visit them and be INSPIRED:-

And don't forget to link your card to InLInkz over at Karen's blog so we can all see what you've created.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Sarah

Here's what I used:-
Stamps:-  A Slice of Life, Create a Cupcake
Paper:- Crumb Cake, Melon Mambo
Ink:- Melon Mambo Marker, Early Espresso, Old Olive Markers, Versa Mark
Accessories:- Champagne Shimmer Mist, Pearl Jewels, Heat Tool, Early Espresso Satin Ribbon

Dear Sweet SJ!
HELLO LOVELY!!! You've done it!!! What a super job on the Torn Frame! WOW!! I love the extra texture you got, did you split the cardstock on the pink?? If in future you think there's too much around your image you can always tear it off, but honestly you've done super!!! I love the sparkle and the mention!
Thanks heaps my dear blogging friend,
Love and smiles and hugs
Sharnee :)
