happiness always {a wedding card}
Hello!!!! I hope this finds you all FABULOUSLY well!!!
I've been, actually WE'VE been struck down by a NASTY, NASTY Gastro Virus here, which seems to have hit each subsequent victim worse than the one before.... ME.. well I copped it last, so I've been pretty much out for the count for a few days. Unfortunately I wasn't able to play along with the Inkspiration Team Gals this week... I tried.. but my head and my lil' bod.. just would play along.. haha, and I felt terrible that I didn't have something to show you this week... sooo.. I thought I'd show you Wedding Card I've had made and ready to blog for a little while for a friend of mine.
I've used Whisper White and then layered it with some Textured Whisper White cardstock then to that a layer of Pretty in Pink and another of Textured Whisper White, which I first cut an Apron Lace Border along the bottom of. I made a little flower using my Scallop Circle Punch, but before I cut each layer out I FAUX SUEDED it.. yep.. there it is again!!!.. And I PROMISE I 've got my Tutorial coming... with the Kale' abode being out for the count for this past month.. it's been a wee bit hard to get edited and up for you... SORRY!!!!... ooopps back on track.. right.. I faux sueded the flower.. then added some Certainly Celery ribbon leaves and secured it all together with a gorgeous Rhinestone brad. I added a little bit of White Ribbon (from my stash.. actually from my very own Wedding Stash... goodness it could almost be Vintage Ribbon.. bwhhahaa.. ok maybe not.. I've only been married for 8 years :D ) and the sentiment is from on of the now gone Sale-a-bration sets Whimsical Words.
I'm really pleased with how it turned out.
Hope you like.. and PLEASE be sure to visit the Inkspiration Team this week and give them all some comment LOVE. I hope to be back fighting fit next week.. hopefully even for the Sweet Sunday Sketch on Sunday.. FIngers Crossed!
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #79
I'm SOOOOOO sorry I'm SOOOO late with my Sweet Sunday Sketch Card!!! Really I am.. I HATE being late!!! My little ones are still on the mend, so amongst a VERY sick littlest one and ABSOLUTELY NO sleep I figured it was quite possible safer for everyone if I waited until I'd had some SLUMBER moments before attempting to create a card. My goodness I may have frightened you off for ever otherwise. hahah!!. Fortunately my littlest one seems to be MUCH better.
Now onto the important stuff.. Karen has once again given us a GORGEOUS sketch, of course I'm sure you've already seen it (Lateness ... remember!!.. hahaha). So here is my card for this weeks sketch:-
And here is the gorgeous sketch:-
I've used Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red and Old Olive as my main colours. The panel across the card is Old Olive Ribbon which I've folded to create a pretty little feature. I've used my Best Yet stamp set and added a little Pink Pirouette flower as an accent. This one is pretty simple, but simple is sometimes good.. Right? AND.. you can't ever have enough FRIEND cards in your stash.. can you?
I'm SURE you already have, but if not be sure to pop on over and visit the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stamper's for some amazing inspiration:-
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Happy Friday!!! Hope your week has been FABULOUS!!! It's time of course for another Inkspiration Challenge, and today we have a SKETCH!!!

Want to see???? Oh oK!!
Here is Keesh's sketch for you to play along with too:-
I received the GORGEOUS little Pure Innocence stamp from my equally GORGEOUS friend Karen a few weeks ago and have been wanting to ink her up for as long!!!... Well FINALLY she's seen some ink, and she's SOOOO cute!!! Don't you think???
I've paper pieced her little dress and the lollypop and then coloured the rest of her using my SU! Markers and Blender Pens. Ooh, Ooh I almost forgot.. her little shoes.. sooo cute!!!.. well I added a little crystal effect to make them appear like they are cute little Patent shoes.. CUTE!!!!
The colour combo I've used is Melon Mambo, Vanilla and Kraft and the DSP is my FAVE.. Candy Lane. Just to add a little something extra I've added a splash of Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon.
Be sure to pop on over and visit the rest of the Inkspiration DT for some more amazing inspiration:-

Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past #2 Blog Hop!!!
Hello!!!! I'm SOOO excited to be playing along with this months Blast from the Past Blog Hop... SOOOO excited... ok a little bit nervous too... Have you seen the FABULOUS ladies who are playing along... FABULOUS!!!!
The name of the game is to create a little something using a TE stamp set released through to April 2010. Ooohh and as if that wasn't fun enough... ONE lucky participant will win a stamp set of their choice!!! WOW... Please let it be me.. PLEASE!!! hahaha
I've used my Sprinkled with Love stamp set today... LOVE that set... it's a set I purchased with my little girl in mind. We often go for "Sprinkle Drink" dates and this set.. well PERFECT.
Sooooo... here is my card for today's blog hop:-
I've kept it nice and simple today. The show stopper is the YUMMY doughnut which I've stamped then coloured using my SU! Markers. To create the GLAZE I smothered it in Crystal Effect and VERY, VERY, VERY patiently waited overnight for it to dry before I even attempted to put it together.. oh ok.. i may have added the little Pink sprinkles before it dried.. but I promise that was all the fiddling I did.. and I assure you that in itself was a challenge.. hahaha.
I created a scallop around the doughnut circle using my Scallop Circle punch then mounted it all up on some dimensionals . The sentiment has been stamped in Chocolate Chip and then to finish it off I added some Melon Mambo ribbon. I've actually created a dry embossed border around the edge of the cardstock, but I'm not sure the photo is showing it very clearly... SORRY!!!
So there you go be sure to visit all the other AMAZINGLY talented ladies on the Blog Hop, I know you wont be disappointed.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #78
Happy Sunday!!! It's time of course for another FABULOUS sketch from the gorgeous Karen.
This weeks sketch was GORGOEUS.. although I will admit to OVERTHINKING it a little which in turn ended up driving me insane, because I has SOOOO many ideas floating around in my head.. hahaha .. Anyone else do that?
Soooo.. here is my card for this weeks sketch:-
And here is the fabulous sketch:-
I've used Pink Pirouette, So Saffron, Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip as my colour combo. First up the base of the card is Pink Pirouette and to that I've added some So Saffron DSP from my Sweet Pea DSP pack then some GORGEOUS Wide Pink Pirouette Ribbon. The square layers are Baja Breeze and Baja Breeze DSP then Choc Chip with some Whisper White. The sweet little cupcake is from my Party Hearty set (gees that set is seeing a LOT of ink lately.. hahaha) and the sentiment is from my Life Definitions set.. I couldn't resist colour the "tickled pink" bit in in PINK!!! hahaha
For the little embellishment frenzy in the corner I made a little banner from the Party Hats in the Party Hearty set.
The jury is still out on this one.. I can't seem to figure out what it is missing..... I'm guessing that if I stare at it for long enough the solution will come to me in the form of a MAJOR head slap OR I'll just decide that I do like it and leave it be. I do have someone in mind as the recipient for this one, but it will all depend on whether I can figure out if I really like it (the card.. not the person.. bwhahaha) or not.

Happy Friday!! It's time of course for another Inkspiration Colour Challenge and today.. ooohh.. it's a PRETTY one!! This colour combo is simple GORGEOUS together, so I hope you'll be able to play along... I can't wait to see what you create.
Here is my card for this weeks challenge:-
And here is the colour combo for you to play along with:-
I've used a fabulous layout for this card.. why fabulous??.. well because this layout was used on one of the cards I recently had PUBLISHED!!!.. woo hoo.. I promise to write a post about that later.. I was a bit torn as to whether to toot my own horn or not... but I figured.. why not.. hahahha
I've started with Choc Chip as my base then added a layer of So Saffron and Regal Rose. The background on the Regal Rose has been made by stamping the swirly tree like stamp from my Trendy Trees set in VersaMark. I added some Choc Chip Grograin and then cut out a large circle in Choc Chip using my Round Tab punch before adding the little Scallop which has another GORGEOUS tree from Trendy Trees. To colour the tree, I used my Markers in Regal Rose and So Saffron. The sentiment is from one of my PTI sets.. Blooming Button Bits and is stamped in Choc Chip.

Inkspiration Challenge #31 {sketch}
Happy Friday!!! Hope your week has been FABULOUS. Unfortunately my little ones are STILL not 100%, but I'm hoping by the end of the weekend, we'll ALL be back to normal.. cheekiness included!!! hahaha
Today the Inkspiration DT has a Sketch for you to play along with, it's a fun one too, so I hope you can find some time to have a little play.
Here is my card for this week:-
And here is the Sketch for you to have a little looksie at:-
I've made ANOTHER baby card this week. Some gorgeous friends of ours ( this is another set of friends.. hahaha) had a GORGEOUS little girl on Sunday. Unfortunately because we've all been sick, we haven't had a chance to visit her yet.. and I MUST be completely better.. after all I am the QUEEN of CLUCK at the moment, and to visit and NOT cuddle, well!!!.. that would just be wrong!!.
I've used some Certainly Celery as the base and then layered some Certainly Celery DSP (retired) to that. My pink layers have been created by using my FAVOURITE technique at the moment Faux Suede.. and YES there is a TUTORIAL (SJK Style) on it's way.. I just have to figure out how to get it from camera to blog... any help.. would be appreciated!!! ahahaha
For the middle layer I've also added some Pink Satin ribbon.. DELICOUS and a little lace border using my Apron Lace punch. The little square has some more Faux Suede in Kraft and I've added some Paper Piercing around the edges and a little pink flower from my Felt Fusion Too tin and a little Pink Rhinestone. The sentiment is from Nursery Necessities.

I've used some Bashful Blue card stock and then added some Sweet Pea DSP on t that.. I'm LOVING my little stash of this GORGEOUS paper!!! I've used my Party Hearty stamp set for this one.. except for the little flower which is from my Cheep Talk set.. LOVE that little flower!!!
This card is for my niece's birthday later on this month... Gee.. I'm loving how organised I am this month with Birthday cards.. bwhahaha... I hope she likes it.. I think it's kinda cute.. so fingers crossed!!. I turned the little party hats from the set into a little birthday banner which is a fun way of using these hat too, and something a little different.
