Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #20

I can NOT believe it!!!! I know... sounds like I've been watching the Little Einsteins doesn't it? hahaha. Well I have, but I am already digressing!!!! What I can't actually believe is that it is already Sunday, which means time for another LOVELY Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, but also that I have made my card ALREADY!!!! (Waving at you Karen, with a BIG smile too!!! hahahaha - aren't you proud of me?? )

I decided that this week I was going to go with my instinct and pick up some PINK and some Close to Cocoa and go from there... I can't really go wrong with Pink, and I just wanted to make a card and not stare at it for the next hour or so deciding if I liked it or not, and worrying that my lovely blogging buddies mightn't like it either (*wink*) - Shell you know what I'm talking about huh!!!! hahaha.

So here is my sweet little card:-

Oh and I mustn't forget to show you the lovely sketch Karen has given us to play with this week.

Like I said I started with a base of Close to Cocoa, then used some Pink Pirouette and some of the absolutely divine Candy Lane DSP...YUMMY!!!!! There are is another layer of Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red and Very Vanilla, which has the sentiment from Best Yet stamped in Riding Hood Red and an image from the lovely Pocket Silhouettes stamped in Pink Pirouette behind it. I added a little button from Button Bouquet just to finish it off.
A nice quick and simple card tonight.... sometimes quick and simple is just the BEST way to go, don't you think?

Thanks for stopping by.

Here's what I used:-

Stamps:- Best Yet (Hostess Set), Pocket Silhouettes
Card:- Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla, Candy Lane DSP
Ink:- Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red
Accessories:- Button from Button Bouquet (SU!), Dimensionals

Well aren't you the little craft speed demon?! I've never layered a sentiment over the top of pocket silhouettes, that looks so nice! Too bad I sold that hostess set, haha!

Oh, and now I'm singing... pat, pat, pat, pat - thanks a lot!
