Happy Birthday Scarlett!!
Hello!!!
Thought I'd show you the card I made for my cousin Sammy's little girl Scarlett. Scarlett turned ONE on Thursday and is having a 'LadyBird Morning Tea Party' soooo, I thought I'd make her a LadyBird Card.
Happy Birthday Scarlett, hope you had a WONDERFUL day!!!!
So, for this card, I used my NEW toys... my Heat Tool to Clear Emboss the base card stock, firstly I'd stamped it with my Polka Dot Background stamp in Versamark. Then to make the Lady Bird I pulled out my Pick a Petal Stamp Set and stamped the image on Whisper White Card in Real Red then used one of the outline stamps in Basic Black I've also 'Crop-a-diled' the white spots to raise them up. I used my circle punches to create the body. The flower is from the Diecuts from the Spring Mini with a little brad in the centre and the Real Red Layer that the LadyBird is sitting on I've also dry embossed with my 'Crop-a-dile' finally I added a scallop edge in some DSP and a touch of Certainly Celery Wide Grosgrain Ribbon.
Oh and the sentiment at the bottom is from the Short and Sweet stamp set.
I hope Scarlett likes it!!!
