Colour Challenge #30
Hello Again Everyone!!!
I have yet again managed to sit myself down to play along with Kristina's Colour Challenge.
Here is our inspiration piece for this week, and I have to say I LOVE the colour combo this week!!!
The colours this week are Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Sahara Sand and Whisper White.
And here is my Card:-
I got a NEW toy this week from Stampin' Up!... well a couple actually, some embossing powder and a Heat Tool and I've been itching to have a play with them.. so I did with this card.
I've used the Live your Dreams stamp set (available in the new Summer Mini) and stamped the large flower image with my VersaMark Ink onto some Old Olive Card stock then I've used my NEW white embossing powder and then smudged around the image with some Old Olive Ink, to make it stand out a little more, the butterfly is stamped in VersaMark and Dazzled with Diamonds!!!!! Then i've layerd the card Sahara Sand being the base, some DSP (Falls Flowers) and then the flower is layered onto some more Sahara Sand. The scallop is in Sahara Sand with an Old Olive and Whisper White Circle and the image on the circle was stamped in Old Olive for the Butterfly and Sahara Sand for the 'Thanks'. I added a splash of Certainly Celery Ribbon too.
I did have fun with my new toys!!!!!
Hope you like.
Sarah

As always, this is a gorgeous card Sarah. I love your layering and embossing. I'm a bit of a sucker for layers and I haven't embossed for AGES so maybe it's time to get the old heat gun out of the cupboard.
This is a lovely card!
What a beauriful card - so feminine and the colours are truly serene yet stunning. Love this one!
