Sweet Sunday Sketch #150

Happy Sunday!!!.. Did you miss us!?? I missed us. ;-) Two weeks in between Sweet Sunday Sketch's seems like FOREVER!!!

I hope you get the chance to play along with us this week.

My card this week was inspired by the AMAZING and VERY, VERY, VERY clever Tracey Wilson (one of the gorgeous ladies I got to spend yesterday afternoon with, STAMPING!!!) At our stampin' day she was in charge of a WOW.. and, well I have to admit to getting very excited when she's in charge of such things, because she ALWAYS, WOW's!!!

Here is my card:-

And here is the sketch:-

So.... the little butterfly on my card, which is the WOW part from yesterday, is made using the lovely and very sparkly Glimmer Paper (Silver) which is available in the current Mini catalogue and then colouring it using my ink pads and Aqua Painter. I know, right! Who would've thought!!! Glimmer paper in ANY colour you fancy!! LOVE it!! Thankyou Trace!!!

My colour combo is Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Soft Suede.

The rest of the Sweet Sunday Stamper's have some AMAZING cards to show you too... sooooo... off you go.. go visit them and be INSPIRED:-
And don't forget to link your card to InLInkz over at Karen's blog so we can all see what you've created.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

This certainly has the 'wow' factor. Love the glittery coloured butterfly.

You, my Lovely, are too sweet! I can't take credit for the idea tho'...as always, I found it on the web. Linda Heller, Mary Fish & Dawn Griffiths all have videos on YouTube demo'ing the technique. Use rubbing alcohol in your aqua brush instead of water to aid with faster drying time :-)

Gorgeous card for a gorgeous sketch - I might just pop off to make my own! xx
