Sweet Sunday Sketch - My FavoUrite!!!

Hello!!! Well as promised.. I'm BACK!!!! and today I'm Back with my FavoUrite Sweet Sunday Sketch plus a card to show you.. I know!!! Right!!!! Finally I've stamped something... WOo Hoo.. could this mean my MOJO is returning!!!???

So.. right onto it then huh... here is my card for this weeks... What's your FavoUrite Sweet Sunday Sketch!!!:- ( I apologise for the photo ... with my computer dying.. along with that went my beloved Photoshop.. GASP!!!!..hopefully not for long though!!)

Now it was hard choosing a fave.. i have to admit I could've chosen any... well ok almost any of them... apart from those pesky TILTED paneled one... but incase you need to have a TILTED moment.. pop on over and visit Vicki.. she's kindly used a TILTED look on hers.. hahaha

I thought I'd have a go and making a couple of Chrissy cards, and given they are usually required in abundance... this sketch is perfect... nice and simple!!!
I've used some now retired DSP, but really the NEW SU! DSP's would be PERFECT and my FAVE chrissy set Season of Joy!!

The colour combo is Crumb Cake (Kraft), Choc Chip, Real REd, Old Olive and some Baja Breeze.. LOVELY!!!

Time for a Change

Hello!!! How are you???? WOW it seems like FOREVER since I've posted something.. well anything remotely crafty anyway!!!

Things around here have been a little.. well.. a lot CRAZY lately... I'll spare all the details but the result is a few changes.

As of today, I wont be on the Inkspiration Design Team. I've had a lot going on here the past few weeks and I guess sometimes you have to learn to let things go.. right? I've LOVED being a member of the Inkspiration DT, working alongside such AMAZING and INSPIRING ladies every week has been an absolute honour. I hope you've enjoyed having me (attempt) to inspire you each week. I can't wait to see the new look DT, and hope to play along myself when things settle down and my MOJO returns from it's extended (albeit VERY UNTIMELY) hiatus!!! Anytime now would be good!!

I will STILL be playing along EVERY Sunday with the Sweet Sunday Stampers.. I can't let everything go.. gees... what would a girl do.. hahaha....

Apologies!!!

Hello there!! I must apologise for my LACK of cards and blogging this week. My computer has finally decided it's time to go where all good.. or should that be BAD computers go!!! My FABULOUS hubby is desperately trying to back up all my STUFF.. you know like cards, photos, all the IMPORTANT stuff.. but unfortunately... I'll have to take a wee break while he's doing it. I will endeavour to sneak onto his computer and get my cards for this week uploaded... I hope I didn't delete them off the CAMERA!!! oh dear!!

I am SO very sorry and hope to be back on track ASAP!!

Happy Sunday!!!! I've use Kraft, Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red, Pumpkin Pie, Choc Chip and Certainly Celery as my colour combo this week. I started out with some Crumb Cake (aka Kraft) then to that added some Pacific Point DSP. The next layer is Riding Hood Red with some Certainly Celery added to that. My images are from my Party Hearty stamp set.

Happy Friday!!!

Of course it's time for another Inkspiration Challenge, and today we have a FABULOUS sketch for you to play along with.

I'm sure you're all going to be totally over seeing my cards with PAPER FLOWERS... SORRY!!! Yep you guessed it.. this card has one too. But I figured given my complete and utter lack of MOJO this week.. seriously I HOPE it returns soon.. I've got some serious crafting to get done over this week and could really do with a MOJO hit!!!

Anyhoo... here is my card for this week complete with above mentioned Paper Flower.. al la SJ style!!! hahah:-

My colour combo today is Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake and Certainly Celery!!
I've started with Melon Mambo added some DSP then the scrunched some Certainly Celery ribbon along my Crumb Cake panel. Lets just hope the scrunching stays scrunched until this little card arrives at it's final destination!!!

Sweet Sunday Sketch #84

Happy Sunday!!! I hope you're ready for another FABULOUS Sweet Sunday Sketch. The AMAZING Nancy McKinney is the amazing sketch artist AGAIN this week and I have to tell you this one is GORGEOUS.

I've been wanting to try my hand at a "Lollipop" card for AGES.. and well.. TODAY is the day!!!

Here is my GIRLY Lollipop card:-

I've used Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana and Rose Red as my colour combo.. VERY GIRLY!!! To create the little Lollipops I've stamped one of the images from my Trendy Tree's set then embossed it in White... add a little toothpick (that's mainly because in my MAD rush to get this made I didn't have time to eat my way through THREE real lollipops to retrieve the sticks hahaha.
The sentiment is from my new Party this Way set (sooo cute).

Inkspiration Challenge #38 {colour}

It's FRIDAY!!! Which also means it's time for another Inkspiration Challenge and today we've got a Colour Combo for you!!!

When you see my card you make have a little case of de ja vu... Don't panic.. I PROMISE I made this one just for this challenge although I'm SERIOUSLY in love with this amazing sketch from my gorgeous friend Karen and have to admit to making SEVERAL cards with this design. I'll try hard to deviate from it soon!!! hahaha

So here is my card for this weeks challenge:-


And here is the colour combo for you to play along with:-


I've started with a base of Baja Breeze, and to that added a strip of Choc Chip and a piece of Baja Breeze DSP from my now retired Ski Slope pack. My flower is made using my scallop circle punch and cutting out 3 scallops then faux sueding them to create six slightly softer scallops (makes for easier scrunching!!!) I added a Rhinestone Brad to the centre and some Old Olive ribbon for the petals. The sentiment is from my Tiny Tags set and I've used 'merry' because I thought this one might actually be able to pass as a Chrissy card.. well ok MAYBE!!!
