Sweet Sunday Sketch #61

Happy Sunday!!!! Soooooo.. I'm REALLY, REALLY LATE with this one.... You see what happens when I'm such a little over achiever one week, you know getting my post up actually a whole 1.5hrs ahead of time... oooops... well this week I'm going for almost a whole 1.5hrs behind time... SORRY!!!!... Karen... PLEASE don't sack me!!! hahaha

Well!!!.. Karen has given us an AWESOME sketch this week.... Absolutely LOVED it and had heaps of fun playing with it. I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it the second I saw it and I'm pretty happy with how my little card came out, even if I was having a minor panic attack at the thought of being sooooo late!!!!

Soooo... here is my card:-

And here is the AWESOME sketch:-

My gorgeous friend Lee gave me this sweet little 'Cuppacakeabella' as a little pressie... I know!!! How lucky am I?!!!!!... And I've be itching to ink it up... well finally... I have... YAY moment!!! hahaha

I've used Choc Chip DSP and paper pieced it to form the top of the cupcake and then added a little pink rhinestone. Miss Cuppacakeabella herself has been dressed in some Riding Hood Red DSP and had a little dunking in the Dazzling Diamond Pot... CUTE!!!! The other colours... well I've gone for some of my faves... Pink Pirouette, Candy Lane DSP, Close to Cocoa and some Whisper White. Of course let us not forget the FABULOUS Pink Pirouette EXTRA wide Grosgrain and some Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon.

We've got a little suprise for you all this week. The AMAZING and very talented Joanne Basile is joining our Sweet Sketch team for the rest of March! EXCITING!!!!
