Mothers Day!!!

Well I hope all the gorgeous Mums I know had a truly wonderful day yesterday and ALL managed to get spoilt!!! I did... Jorja chose some lovely new PJ's for me.

We had a pretty busy day... first off we had a lovely Brekkie with my Mum and then we had lunch with Shane's.... lets just say there was no dinner required!!

Thought I'd share the cards I made for each of our mums for yesterday with you.

First up, the card I made for my Mum ( oh and I couldn't resist putting this photo up of the two of us from yesterday... doesn't she look gorgeous.. my MUM!!!!)

And now for her card.... I found a card very similar to this from 'Splitcoast Stampers' and just changed it a tad to suit.

For Shane's Mum I thought I'd give the technique 'Crayon Resist' a go... I've never done this before, but I was quite pleased with my very first attempt. I actually got this idea from 'here' .
So now that you've read about them I guess I should show you all a picture and then tell you what I used. Here you go.

Stamps:- Pick a Petal
Inks:- Wild Wasabi
Paper:- Whisper White and Wild Wasabi Card Stock and Rose Red DSP

Accessories:- Wild Wasabi Double Stitched Ribbon, Pin, Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stamps:- Time Well Spent (Level 3 Hostess Set), Greetings Galore.
Ink:- Stazon Black, River Rock, Groovy Guava, Soft Sky
Paper:- River Rock, Groovy Guava, Whisper White, Glossy White
Accessories:- Linen Thread, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL, White Crayon.
