sweet sunday sketch #59 {happy birthday}

Happy Sunday!!!!!... Hope you've enjoyed your weekend. It's Sunday and that means it's Sweet Sunday Sketch time ... YAY!!!! Although... I'm LATE!!!, I'm LATE!!!!... Sshhhh... don't say anything... oh and Karen, if you're reading this just pretend that I had this up RIGHT ON TIME.. hahaha. I've actually had my card made since Friday (I KNOW!!!!) and even photographed, but I spent the day with my Mum today and, well, I got home a little later that I thought, and have frantically been trying to get my post done, however my computer decided it would have a "GO SLOW" moment!!!! Anyhoo.. It's all done now... Phew!!!!

March is a CRAZY month for birthdays for me, so I thought I'd attempt to get on top of my little birthday card stash by using Karen's gorgeous sketch this week.

Here is my card:-

Here is Karen's sketch for you to play along with:-

I've used Choc Chip, Baja Breeze and Pink Pirouette with a splash of Regal Rose as my colour combo. And because of the way the layers on the card overlap, I've kept it pretty clean and simple. I used me For Everything set for the flower and again a combination of my Basic Phrases and my Handwriting from the sentiment.

Be sure to pop on over and visit the other Sweet Sunday Stampers for some AMAZING inspiraton, they NEVER fail to inspire:-

And don't forget to link your card to Mr Linky over at Karen's blog so we can all see what you've created.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Sarah
xx

Here's what I used:-

Stamps:- For Everything, Basic Phrases, MY Handwriting
Card:- Kraft, Choc Chip, Baja Breeze DSP, Pink Pirouette

Ink:- Regal Rose, Close to Cocoa

Accessories:- Apron Lace Punch (Fiskars), Dimensionals, Pink Rhinestones, Pink Pirouette WIDE Grosgrain, Kraft Taffeta Ribbon, 1" Circle Punch, Blender Pens, Choc Chip Marker

Ohhh, I love it! I'm loving your stamping on Kraft, it is just that little bit different, and is a refreshing change from white, white, WHITE!! Also how very clever to have your pink ribbon start halfway over your card, Very clever indeedy!

Sarah, I love it. The colours are so you. This is a great sketch. I've said it before, but i reckon you need to get your handwriting on a stamp, maybe tell SU (give a card to Shelli at Convention ;-)
Cheers,

Gorgeous card SJ and there goes that beautiful handwriting that I am so envious of. I agree with Fiona... you should get that handwriting on a stamp :)
