Inkspiration Sketch Challenge #15

Happy Friday!!!! Hope you've had a fabulous week and better still have a FABULOUS weekend.

It's time for another Inskspiration Challenge, and this week we have a SKETCH.... I do LOVE a sketch!!!!!

I really, REALLY enjoyed working with the sketch that Keesh set this week. And while the temptation to pull out my beloved Circle Circus set AGAIN almost took over.. I say almost, because in fear of you all getting SICK of me using it, I opted to add an extra card to my Chrissy stash... and I'm actually really happy with the outcome. Gosh hope you like it !!! hahaha.

Ooooh and now for the great sketch:-

I actually got the inspiration for this card from and absolutely STUNNING card I saw at the Perth Regionals last week. It was one of those jaw dropping, couldn't speak for a moment moments... the creator of said card was Tina Dickman... and YAY.. Tina has now posted her gorgeous card to her blog here, so be sure to pop on over and have a look... you wont be disappointed.

I started out with a base of Kraft... (well if I wasn't using Circle Circus, I couldn't NOT use Kraft!!! hahaha) then added a layer of White and some DSP from Ski Slope (in Baja Breeze). I used some Baja Breeze Dbl Stitched Ribbon and some Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon across the middle. I stamped my Poinsettia stamp from Season of Joy in Versamark then embossed it with Whisper White embossing powder mixed with a little Dazzling Diamonds then added a Rhinestone to the centre. There is a Kiwi Kiss Circle behind it just to bring it out a little more and also a White Scallop so it didn't get lost on the background. The sentiment is from my Hostess Set "Best Yet" and I used my White Embossing powder on that too. The Brads were silver and I dabbed them in Versamark and White embossing powder to make them White!!!.

Be sure to pop on over to the other Inkspiration DT girls blogs for some more AMAZING inspiration:-

and of course KEESH

And dont' forget to have a play too.... link your creation to Keesh's blog so we all can see.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

We got to make some GORGEOUS projects, which I'll share with you soon I promise... you'll just have to wait until the NEW Mini comes out.. not long to go now, but let me assure you, YOU wont be disappointed!!!!

And today... SUNDAY... and another FABULOUS Sweet Sunday Sketch. Karen has set another BEAUTIFUL sketch for us this week.

Here is my card:-

And here is our sketch:-

I LOVE making Christmas cards, and I especially LOVE making them a little differently using PINK!!!! I know I'd LOVE to receive a PINK Chrissy Card... How about you... would you LOVE a Pink Chrissy Card?

I started out with some Kraft cardstock and to that layered some Pink Pirouette and Baja Breeze DSP from my Ski Slope pack. Then added another layer using Close to Cocoa and Kraft again this time creating my own background using my Season of Joy set and stamping the images in Versamark. The main image is stamped on Whisper White in Pink Pirouette. I re-stamped the small poinsettia in Regal Rose and added a little bling with Dazzling Diamonds. I also re-stamped the little snow flake in Baja Breeze and mounted that with some dimensionals.. oh and lets not forget about the other little bit of bling in the form of a pink rhinestone in the word 'season' ... did you see it? Rather than add circle to the top I used my creative license and added a Pink Pirouette bow. I don't think Karen will mind!! :o) (*smiling and waving Karen*)

Be sure to pop on over to the other Sweet Sunday Stamper gals blogs for some more amazing inspiration:-

Today is an Inspiration Challenge from Keesh, so be sure to play along.

Here is my card:-

And here is the Inspiration picture:-

Soooooo much possibility with this one... there's green, black, blue, kraft... all sorts.

I grabbed my main inspiration from the little cushion sitting at the front of the bed. I started my card with base of Basic Grey then layered some tempting turquoise and some Basic Grey DSP. Then added another panel of Tempting Turquoise and Basic Grey with my images stamped onto some Kraft. I used my Pocket Silouettes today (thought I'd give you all a break from my Circle Circus frenzy of late!!! hahaha), and I stamped that using my Whisper White Ink Pad. I added a little white button for some embelishment. The sentiment is layered in the same way as the rest of the card and I used my Basic Phrases again stamped in Whisper White for that, oh and added a little ribbon tag using my Kraft taffeta ribbon.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #39

Happy Sunday!!!! Hope you've been enjoying your weekend. We've had a lovely weekend. Lastnight I went to the John Farnham concert with my Mum.... WOW... it was AWESOME... YES I am a PROUD John Farnham fan!! :o)

The lovely Karen has set an AWESOME sketch for us this week... I REALLY, REALLY enjoyed working with this one, and will definately be using it again... SO much fun.

Here is my card:-

And here is the wonderful sketch:-

Cool huh?.

When I first saw it I had a "minor" panic attack (Please don't panic Karen... waving!!!) only because I didn't have ANY oval templates... I KNOW... *GASP*... but you may have noticed I said 'didn't' ... because... I went out and got me a little template sheet so that can cut a proper oval as opposed to attempting to create one with random object on my craft desk...hahaha... albeit amusing to picture it... I've opted for simplicity this time... hahahah.

I chose one of my FAVOURITE colour combos for this week, Choc Chip, Regal Rose (well any PINK for that matter), Certainly Celery and of course KRAFT!!!.

I created my own background on the Regal Rose using the little flower from Cheep Talk stamped in Regal Rose then used my White Gel pen to brighten up the centres. The bottom layer, I stamped the little heart from Cheep Talk in Certainly Celery. I stamped the large flower from Cheep talk in Regal Rose, stamped off once onto Vanilla card and added a Pink Rhinestone to the centre then stamped my sentiment from Best Yet in Choc Chip. The edges of the Vanilla oval and the Kraft section have been sponged in Choc Chip to add a little dimension. Oh and the scallop edge around my Oval was created by using my Scallop Oval punch... I haven't got a LARGE scallop (Oval) template just yet.... on my wish list hahahha, so had to get a little bit creative with that bit. ;o)
Oh and I mustn't forget the CHoc Chip Ribbon just to finish it all off.

Hope you like this one, and be sure to pop on over to the other Sweet Sunday Stampers blogs for some more AMAZING inspiration:-

And don't forget to have a little play too... all you need to do is create a card using the sketch as your guide then leave a link to your card on Mr Linky on Karen's Blog for us all to see. FUN!!!!

Thanks for stopping by.

Inkspiration Sketch Challenge #14

Happy Happy Friday everyone!!! Keesh has set us a GORGEOUS sketch to work with this week. I DO love a sketch, and had heaps of fun with this one... even stepped out of my little comfort zone and opened up some Bold Brights for it...oooohhhh.

Here is the card I made for this weeks challenge:-

And here is the GORGEOUS sketch from Keesh:-

I started out with some Pink Passion as the base then added some Tempting Turquoise and TT DSP for the centre panel with another layer of Pink Passion and Whisper White. I stamped the image from my Pocket Silhouettes set in Pink Passion, and Lavender Lace, the sentiment is from Basic Phrases and stamped in Green Galore. The butterfly is from Great Friend and I stamped that in Lavender Lace and rolled the edges with som Pink Passion then added a couple of Pink Rhinestones to the centre. Ooohhh did you see the little pink rhinestone I added to the Silhouette image... just to give it a little something special. I added a little splash of Kraft Taffeta ribbon to finish it off.

Hope you like and be sure to pop on over to Keesh's blog and leave your own card on Mr Linky for this weeks challenge for us all to have a look at.

My Beautiful Ella - Day THREE

Hi There!!! Back again with a couple more pages from Ella's Scrapbook. Today I've got month Four and Five for you.

This one of her at Four months was taken on her very first Camping trip.... yep camping in a TENT!!! She had a wonderful time, and considering the heat.... coped pretty well... we won't mention how long it took to get her back to sleeping properly again when we got home... nope.. we'll keep that a secret!! haha... (see I can laugh now!!).

I just adore this picture... her cheeky little face, it's like she's quite proud of the fact she's squished her Big Sis out of the photo... she is there, like I said, just a bit squished!!!!

And then for Five Months... this one was taken at one of our MANY trips to the Zoo... sitting there in her pram pretty happy with being pushed around in luxury!!!.

So hope you like these two pages. Be sure to pop back tomorrow for a couple more. Oh and I promise to have a card or two for you soon too.

Thanks for stopping by.

My Beautiful Ella - Day ONE!!!

Hi there!!! As promised in this post, during the week I'll be popping up the scrap pages I've made of my Beautiful Ella, who celebrated her FIRST birthday on Saturday. I made these pages for her scrap book, but also to have on display during her party, so that everyone could see just how much she's grown. Well OK, I think everyone already knew that, but it was fun making them, and made Mummy here a bit teary while searching the hundreds of pic we have of her to make each page.

So, today I've got her arrival and One Month pages.

Ella is literally minutes old in this photo.... she came so quickly that it was taken on Shane's mobile phone, because YES we didn't have time to get the camera out of the car... it was get ME out or have baby in the car... hahaha.

And here she is at One Month old.... smiley, happy and just adorable.

Hope you like these, be sure to pop back tomorrow for a couple more.

All supplies on these pages are from my SU! Simply Scrappin' Kit - Rock-a-Bye Girl. oooohhh I do LOVE this kit.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #38 and a Raspberry Suite Colour Inspiration

Happy Sunday Everyone!!!! We've had a BUSY, BUSY week this week. My precious Ella turned one yesterday. Who would've thought planning a 1st birthday is soooo time consuming!!! Or perhaps it's just me and my Obsessive Compulsive behaviour!!! ... hmmmm could be that... hahaha.

I'm hoping today is going to be nice and relaxing... Ella has about a hundred (ok slight exageration!! haha) new toys to muddle her way through, with I might add the added enthusiasm of her older sister Jorja (almost 3), who thinks all her Christmases have come at once with such an influx of new goodies!!! And Shane and I, well I think a day of doing NOTHING is in order!!!

Anyhoo... the reason your here is to see what WONDERFUL sketch the lovely Karen has set for us to play along with this week. I've actually got TWO projects to show you today using Karen's sketch, one a Scrap page of Ella ( I made 13 pages to put up for her party, one for each month, which I'll post during the week), and thought I'd use Karen's sketch for the layout JUST incase I didn't get the opportunity to sit down and make a card. BUT... I've managed to sneak a bit of time and get one done too, and I'm so glad I did.

So first up the Scrap Page of Ella:-

And, now my card:-

And last but not least the fabulous sketch:-

I used my Simply Scrappin' Kit - Rock-a-Bye Girl Pack to make all of the pages for Ella's scrapbook, for this page I started with a Bashful Blue base and added some Pink Pirouette DSP and one of the Sticker embelishments in Kiwi Kiss. I layered her GORGEOUS photo (she is GORGEOUS isn't she... YES I am VERY biased!!... LOL) onto some Regal Rose before added the 11month sticker, some Regal Rose Ribbon and a little heart sticker.

For my card I used Dawn's Raspberry Suite Colour Challenge Colours of Kraft, Choc Chip, Red, Turquoise (Aqua) and Vanilla.
I used some Tempting Turquoise DSP mounted onto a piece of Choc Chip and stamped my image from my Party Hearty set in Choc Chip adding a Turquoise star to the centre and a Real Red hat which I stamped twice and mounted one on top of the other. Some Choc Chip grosgrain finished it off. Quite a simple card, but I'm really happy how it turned out.

Be sure to pop on over to the other Sweet Sunday Stamper's Blogs for some more FABULOUS inspiration:-

Thanks for stopping by and ENJOY the rest of your Sunday.

Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge #13

Hi There!!! Hope you are all well. It's been a CRAZY week here in the Kale' abode... trying to organise my little darling Ella's FIRST birthday party... ONE already... I'm still trying to accept the fact that she is growing up!!! There's still photos to be scrapped, balloons to be pumped, Cake to be made... OH and most importantly STAMPIN' to be done!!!

This week the GORGEOUS Keesh has set an Inspiration Challenge, and here is the little card I've made for it:-

Here is the lovely Inspiration picture:-

I started out with a base of Real Red, then added some Sahara Sand and some Real Red DSP from Summer Picnic (retired), to that I added another layer of Sahara Sand and some striped DSP from my Dashing pack (unfortunately also retired) ... SORRY about all the retired goodies today!!!!. I used this paper though because it resembled the stripes on the table cloth.
I stamped my flower image from my Circle Circus set in Real Red and stamped it slightly off the edge then stamped my sentiment in Sahara Sand.

All in all a pretty simple card this week, but for fear of over crowding or over embelishing ( is there such a thing??? hahaha) I opted to leave it nice and simple. I hope you like.

Don't forget to pop on over to the other Inkspiration DT girls blogs for some AMAZING inspiration:-
