sweet sunday sketch #30

Hello There!!!!

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch card!!!! My MOJO was MIA a wee bit this week, but I can ALWAYS count on the lovely Karen to get me going again!!!

This week I've made a miniature version of Karen's sketch. WHY???? Well.... I've been wanting to do a letter box drop around my little estate, so thought instead of just popping a gorgeous little Spring Mini in the letterbox, which I'm thinking that a few people may just ignore and pop in the bin {*GASP*}.... just keeping it real!!!! {*GASP* - again}, I would make some little cards to attach, that way there's just a little something extra to grab their attention. What do you think... sound like a good idea? Any other suggestions... PLEASE do share!!!

Anyhoo... here is my little card:-

And here is Karen's lovely sketch:-

I used Kraft (AGAIN) as my base and added some Choc Chip and Baja Breeze DSP then another layer of Kraft with some Choc Chip DSP, some Choc Chip ribbon, and little brad with a sentiment from my NEW Oval All set from the Spring Mini and a Baja Breeze Oval Scallop.

So, do you think you'd like to get a little card like this in you letter box... do let me know, so that I can either make some more OR go back to the drawing board... hahaha.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sarah

That is a wonderful idea I feel and I would love to receive your little card! It is very pretty! Good luck with your letter box drop! I am interested to find out what response you get. Who could resist the Spring Mini though - gorgeous!!

Sarah you could drop one of those in my letterbox anytime and it would make my day! That's a really cute idea. I'd do the same, if I had the time... Perish the thought of people throwing out the Spring Mini! Maybe write in the card something like if they're not interested to leave it out for you to collect on a certain day, so you might get some of them back? Just to save you some $. Our local Avon lady does that! Good luck with the letterbox drop, hope it goes well!

I think it's a fabulous idea. I've been thinking of doing it myself but just haven't yet. The card will definitely make it a show stopper, or should I say "Throw Stopper". lol It is just perfect.

I think adding the "leave on the doorstep on 'this' day for me to collect the catalogue" in the card is a good idea too.

Good luck and please do share how it all goes.

This is pretty much my favorite color combo right now!! Love this! Oh, and I totally enjoyed the picture of your little one chewing on cardstock. I filled my craft room with all kinds of baby toys and Landon STILL just wants the paper!

Oh yes, you must try this "marketing ploy"! Surely nobody could throw that little piece of beauty out. Genius!
