Colour Challenge #20

It's that time of week already..... Another WONDERFUL Kristina Colour Challenge!!!!!

Here is this weeks GORGEOUS challenge:-

Ooohhh.... aren't those colours just AMAZING!!!!...Well maybe I'm a tad biased, but any combo with pink and chocolate is a winner in my book!!!!

Anyway... here is my card for this week:-

After a bit of fluffing around, trying to figure out what I was going to do, and how I was going to use these beautiful colours, I decided to go with a base of Chocolate Chip and layer it with some Pretty in Pink and a strip of Certainly Celery DSP... I've popped these both up on dimensionals. Then I did some 'Dry Embossing' with some Pretty In Pink circle and added another layer (on dimensionals) of Regal Rose and Very Vanilla Cardstock of course adding a splash of the beautiful Regal Rose Wide Grosgrain. My flower is from the Bodacious Bouquet Stamp set and is stamped in Regal Rose and the leaves in Certainly Celery, I've just attached the centre flower using a brad and again popped it up on a dimensional before attaching.
The sentiment 'You Make Me Happy' is from the EXTREMELY versatile, hostess set 'So Many Sayings' and I've used Chocolate Chip Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock, which I've then layered on some Chocolate Chip.

So, there you have it, another amazing challenge set by Kristina.... I hope you like it!!!

Wow! I love your card! The flowers are gorgeous and I love the dry embossed look of your circles! That ribbon is just yummi-licious (is that the right spelling of a non-existent word? LOL!) How are you doing? How is your pregnancy going? Can you believe that it's almost September! Hope these last few weeks before the baby comes is filled with lots of rest, pampering and time to craft!
Best wishes from Iowa,
Sankari

Hey anything with the name "chocolate" is a good choice. So "chocoalte" chip and pink are absolutely perfect together.
Cute card.
